CC, for that. Its a shame you cannot show articles anymore because you were very good at collating stuff...
Didnt Peter say he would knockout Toney last time as well??!! ;D
I highly doubt he manages to knock him down, and I highly doubt he wins too!
Toney by UD...
God, I love Sam Peter.
Sam Peter is a punk....gravity has a better chance of crushing James Toney
'Crush' James Toney, sounds a bit too much IMO, I think Peters gonna decision him but he needs to stop making these lucrative comments.
Then again what boxers don't make these comments prior to fights. ::**
Why can't you show articles any more? ???Quote:

Only way Peter can crush James Toney is if he falls on him with his huge swollen barrel chest and rolls on him. Only time he hurt Toney in fight #1 was when he hit him on the back of the head. Peter hasn't learned to box in his whole career,He sure as sh1t didn't learn how to in the past few months.
James Toney by late TKOQuote:

you guys need to understand why all boxers talk shit before their fights. its a matter of pysching themselves up. a fighter must believe he can "destroy" "crush" or "humiliate" their opponent or else the fight is already over before it starts! you cant expect peter to say well i hope this time i could maybe actually win this fight since everyone knows i didnt deserve the decision last time.
Here's my thing...I was very impressed with how Peter handled Toney. He hurt Toney several times. No one seems to mention that too much. As limited as Peter is...he did a damn fine job of hanging with some really good fighters.
12 rounds against Wlad Klitschko. Lost...but dropped him several times & took all of his best punches up to the 12th round & Klit FINALLY stunned him.
12 rounds against Toney. WON...even if it was controversially...he boxed & jabbed with one of the most skilled fighters of the game...even if he is a fatty & out of shaper as a heavy.
Oh...and Lyle...hush up about Peter already. We get it...he dropped your lovah Wlad & you'll never forgive him...we get it...move on. ;) ;D :-*
The sight of a crushed James Toney (literally) is something I don't think I'm ready to see.
:LOS:
Why do you hate Sam so much? Oh yeah, that punk floored Wlad 3 times and tough guy Wladdy had to hold him all night to stay upright.Quote:

He SHOULD be an extremely good fighter right now but instead of that he's living off of 1 KO of a hyped up bum and by doing that he's just slipping away, wasting time being HALF of a fighter
I ain't too fond of James Toney either and I have a right to have my opinion.....and judging by James' size his last fight GRAVITY does stand a good chance of crushing him
;D Sad but true. Toney should outbox Peter's big ass again, just like he did last time. Now is this fight THIS weekend, the 6th, or not? I'm confused.Quote:

From allthose aspects I'd want him to beat Toney but I try and keep that and the boxing part of the boxer seperate in my mind. He big and strong but too raw and slow. looping punches and not tenaciuos enough. I don't think the Klitschko fight showed how good he is, it just showed how very average Klitschko can be.

Not everyone hits as hard as Sam....I think Wlad did very well considering rabbit punches weren't being called.
And considering Wlad as "average" that night it also shows how far ahead of everyone else he is
Yup it's the 6th.Quote:

Are kidding or what? Wlad would have gotten KTFO the 1st time if it was called fairly.Quote:

I do want that fight to happen!!! trouble is Sam can't get past an old fat James Toney
YOUR BOY doesn't have much talent he just has power and it's not enough...Wlad won EASY even being down 3 times.....he won EASY
LYLE?? did you really just say that??Quote:

dint he say that before he lost to toney last time
Sam Peter even had trouble winning the rounds when he knocked Wlad down!!!Quote:

Taking the knockdowns into consideration those scores are pretty far apart dude
Good points....well said.Quote:

still.. surviving 3 knockdowns and coming back to win is pretty lucky. Maybe goes to show that the "NIGHTMARE" doesn't punch all that hard after all and isn't much of a finisher.
.....or it shows Wlad's chin isn't that bad and he has a ton of heart
Well we KNOW that thats not the reason.Quote:

As for heart its smaller than scrooges in the Dr Suess cartoon before it grew.
The first fight was fairly entertaining.. .. James Toney was 15 lbs away from winning that first fight... if James loses that 15 lbs and comes in correct. I think Toney can win, if not I think Peter " Will Crush him" as he say! O0
When you walk through heavy fire on the way in and then have someone grab you right afterward or push you back without the ref doing his job is a tall order for anyone. I would like to see what Wlad would have been able to do under the same circumstances. Maybe fold like all the other times he was backed against the wall.Quote:

If your bullshit theory was true some other fighter would have been beaten like that in a fight of similar
magnitude.
I have never in my life heard such bitching from fans.....what the fuck does it say about Sam Peter when he can't keep out of a clinch????
It tells me he's a fat fucker relying on nothing but punching power. He doesn't use combinations, he doesn't use a jab, his power is overrated, he fouls all the fucking time and no points are taken from him.
Lennox Lewis used the clinch, Lennox Lewis pushed off and don't you DARE give me the Wladimir Klitschko isn't Lennox Lewis that doesn't mean SHIT the fact that Lewis used those tactics without fouls called on him sets what we like to call a precident....look it up jackasses
I never got to see the fight with Toney. How did Peter truely do? I know that Peters is not a true boxer or whatever, but how did he win against Toney & also how did he do so good agianst Wladimiar Klitsko?Quote:

In the last round Wlad rocked the hell out of Sam Peter with a left hook but thanks to time constraints Sam was not KO'd.
So with the exception of 3 slip ups by Wlad, Dr. Klitschko stomped Sam Peter from Round 1 to Round 12
Stomped him...after getting dropped 3 times?Quote:

I'd rather screw a cactus that agree with Lyle...but...Wlad did dominate the fight throughout. Except for the times when Peter threw a punch and the wind from it dislocated Sh1tschko's Crystal jaw. The fact that he was down 3 times and survived says something about his skills and smarts, and something about Peter's lack of finish and "killer" instinct. Any time a fighter is floored 3 times and survives, never mind wins, he should count himself lucky IMO.Quote:

Sam was LUCKY he won the rounds he dropped Wlad in.....that is actually how onesided it was.
114-111 doesn't look too big but when you figure it would be AT LEAST 117-111 had Wlad not been knocked down then it starts to look a bit more ones sided.
And Sam ate some HUGE punches
This guy is as much in love with Wlad as Merchant is so don't put too much stock in what he says about Peter. I saw the fight like this: Wlad was jabbing and throwing some pretty good combos and Peter was walking through them all night. The problem is that every time he he got within 5 feet of Scaredy, woops I meant Wladdy, he actually reached out and grabbed him or pushed him back with his arms fully extended. This is certainly not the usual tie up practice that you see in boxing, that was straight up wrestling and the ref did nothing about it. About the rabbit punching that Lyle is talking about, it's not Peters fault that Wlad was so scared to get hit in the face that he kept turning his head. Anyway, I suggest you watch the fight yourself and be the judge cause this queer is biased and he doesn't want no mention of his boyfriend in the ring with his biggest threat again.Quote:
