A new picture of Toney: Maybe he is actually in better shape

People have been wanting to see a new picture so here it is. Its from east side.

Hard to really tell how he looks cause all you can really see is his face, but his face doesn't look as fat as usual. Compare that to the picture on the right which was when he was 237 for Dominic Guinn and his face looked fat as F***. Maybe the rumors of him being in the low 220's are true. Maybe.

The fact that he's eating a salad peroid is an improvement, although with good leaf arrangement that 16oz steak is easy to hide :)
Seriousy though, his face is much slimmer, and thats the hardest place to lose weight, so like you said, this time he may have found jenny craig!

I tolf you guys,I honestly believe he is in shape for this fight.Seriously!

Its the best he's looked for a while . His face is like almsot back to the Iran Barkley days . This will be the deciding factor in this fight . Its what it took from Toney , a little discipline . His recent results havent been great against Ruiz , Rahman and Peter and now he knows he cant afford to lose again , his backs agains the wall and he's done teh work in the gym . The verbals from Peter have probably helped motivate him .

Wouldnt it be great if we saw a near prime Toney doing a number on Peter from start to finish . I think we'll see summat close to that . The form in which he took apart Evander and the way he set about his work is how he'll go about breaking down Peter . Countering , angles , speed and combos , things we havent really seen for a while . This should be a good show . Toney UD

I don't mean to sound crazy...but maybe the weight helped Toney in the first Peter fight... maybe a slimmer Toney has a better chance of getting knocked out... But then again a slimmer Toney would get hit a lot less.

Not buyin it. He's 230. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong but I don't believe it. Hate to be the skeptic but going to have to be with Toney. Fatty.

Lol cc thats funny... I think he does look slimmer though. Don't expect him to show up in the shape he did against HOlyfield or anything, but he was in better shape against Peter than he was against Rahman so no reason he can't go much further to improve. The weight isn't as important as his condition.

no he's definitely leaner...I hope we can expect him at 225.

When is the weigh-in, today or tomorrow? I know for the heavyweights they do it on thursdays sometimes since the weigh-in doesn't really mean anything, in terms of weight limits.

What you really got to look at is the fact that that is a McDonalds Salad, which is, sadly, around 700 calories (at least the ones in the UK are). And that aint his first bottle of dressing neither....

Shame we could'nt see a standing one really ..

Before the last fight we saw a pic of james before in a big ol white t shirt and he looked ok..
He is getting better and better ..No doubt
More so looked bigger chested and bigger shoulders before last fight..But its good to see he's eating healthy and/or at least hear about it..
Even if he's still packing a bit of weight coming into the fight.. If he truely has been eating and training right.. then that will make the world of diference on speed and conditioning...
This is always classic hope before a toney fight though in fairness..Everything sounds and looks great..
And then something has to go wrong whether big or small..
Im hoping this is the exception :P

You're right. His face does seem a bit slimmer and that's probably one of the most difficult places to lose weight.

i think he took it really serious this time and he knows hes an asshole so its kind of hard for the oldass judges (who passs out during fights... look at some decsions they made) to score the fight for him
