He's a pretty good brawler, The ring rates him as #3 for Featherweights, is PAC going down in weight or is Chi going up? I don't think there is any reason to believe PAC would have any problems with him though.Quote:

Chi is a great fighter...or a really good one I should say.Quote:

But not an opponent who should in anyway no matter what Pacquaio does against him surplant Mayweather at the top of the p4p ranking. Its seems like that's what he is trying to do by taking the fight before Mayweather's fight with ODLH, but as long as Mayweather wins Pacquaio bet second(and by second I mean third behind Winky).
Chi gave Morales hell, his last fight was a war too but I think he is getting old now and I don't really see any reason for Manny to fight himn. Actually,in the Asian community, that would be a HUGE fight would it not? It makes sense for buisness I guess and Chi is no bum,he's very very tough and strong.
Spot on El Gamo mate, Back when he fought Morales his strength and grit were amazing, you could see Erik was shocked at how tough he was. He had his great war with Michael Brodie and then looked like he had improved a bit for the rematch when he won the title (looking back it was probably as much Brodie regressing as it was Chi improving). I haven't seen his most recent fight but Chi isn't as tough a nut to crack as he once was. If Pacquiao is on form Chi could find himself on the wrong end of a serious beatdown.
Too fast, too strong too everything for Chi.
Pac via TKO rd. 4
I would expect Pac to beat Chi and with enough to spare, but I would be very surprised by a 4 round beat down! Chi In Jin is a tough nut and it wouldnt be a stroll in the park for Pac. I would say Pacs work rate and power would carry him to a handy UDQuote:

Hes pretty much winding down his career, you can see it in his last fights that hes not the same Chi that fought Morales nore the one that beat Brodie. IMO....Quote:

He was good before. But he's only decent now. The ass kicking he took against Morales aged him fast.Quote:

I just don't believe that Chi is still marquee material anymore.
Pac within 4.
I'm not sure it's that much of a let down. At the end of the day, In Jin Chi is a world champion and that was more than Larios and look how good that match up was! I know Manny will win this but i think it's a good fight for bigger things. IMO In Jin Chi is a big name and this would be a good fight to see.Quote:

Thats his big problem . Chi at his best has the ability to really knock Pac out of his rythm and take him into the trenches . Afew years back this wuda been a 50-50 fight but since then both men have gone in different directions. Pacs hands are faster and he has the better all round ability . Chi got a draw with Brodie which is pretty bad when you compare the guys . You gota go with Pac in this 1 but remeber Chi has a decent chin as he showed against Erik and he may have something left in the tank .Quote:

All i see this fight is like the Larios one, a comfortble fight but competative and this is what Manny needs imo. He will lead onto Barrera, Valero, Guzman etc. I think Manny is in control on 130 and this will just show that.Quote:

manny could go down to get a belt at featherweight and go for the super featherweight title at the end of the year. that would be quite an achievement to add to pac's previous championship titles at the flyweight and super bantamweight. but actually, a fight with chi isn't even being considered at the moment. the frontrunner in the pac sweepstakes seems to be ibf champ malcolm klaasen. though i would rather have pac face either joan guzman or edwin valero since both jmm and mab are out of the equation. i guess pac wants a relatively easier opponent for his next fight.Quote:

If Pac fights Chi, then good for him. If he decides to fight someone else then good for him also. He does deserve a break and he should take advantage of it being that he might possibly face the winner of MAB-JMM.
hopefully you're right CutMeMick. I just dont want PAC to get all these useless mileage against nobodys. Manny is not getting any younger either I guess better do it now than later when he no longer has the speed, power and stamina which is basically his bread and butter edge.Quote:

cutme, pacquiao would have ko'd larios early but he had to accommodate all the tv ads so that his boxing promotion could maximize its earnings. so he just coasted to a comfortable win. and yeah, pac should get the winner of jmm-barrera.
I guess you're right Bro, Klassens IBF belt does weigh a lot and beating him means Manny becomes a 3 division champ.Quote:
