I don't think Peter dominated Toney the entire fight. The last half of the fight was basically even both fighters weren't really punching and looked tired. Peter just looked a little bit better and beat Toney at his own game. Peter's used his jab while Toney landed some good shots but wasn't active enough. The reason I think Peter won the fight was the first half of the fight. When both fighters were active and throwing, I thought Peter was really dominant. Toney's fat ass got knocked down by a little jab. Peter won the first half of the fight big, and I think they split some rounds towards the end, but Peter definitely won that fight. Peter knocked Toney down, Peter beat Toney at his own game by making fun of Toney being hurt, Peter was more active, Peter is the future.
I just watched the fight on tape. Toney lost, pure and simple.
I would like to see a third match, I think Toney would really take it seriously after getting his ass handed to him twice. I think he would actually drop down in weight with serious conditioning work.

I thought a lot of the rounds were close and couldve went either way. 3 were desively Toney's and about 4 couldve went either way. You know, I'm wondering if Toney left his fight in the gym, is too old or he just fought dizzy the entire fight cause he was not in it at all. He got hit hard in the first round and heprobably never truly got a chance to fully recover due to Peters reletless assault. He kept the jab in his face all night so that's tough. I like Toney though man, I really didn't wanna see him go out like that.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I've always been a Toney fan but he looked like a fat ass slob just like the first fight but his performance was much worse. You don't go on a 1500 calorie diet and actually run and do more training and still come in heavier. ( 1500 calorie diet, my ass ) I gave Toney 3 rds in that fight and I think I might have been generous with one rd. He's still slick for a fat 38 yr old slob but he can't move like he used too carrying all that blubber around. I also think people are given way to much credit to Peter, he beat an old slow really out of shape fighter and people act like he's a world beater. I think Toney won the first fight and lost the second one big, so I consider them one and one but I have no desire to see a third fight. If Toney couldn't get in shape for this one what makes anyone think he would get real serious to get in shape for a third fight. Peter wins even easier if another fight ever happens.
Blanks probably gave him a running regiment to run and left it at that, and Toney probably around the bend and cut through the woods and set down out of Blanks sight and ate a snickers and then continued from the short cut to the finishing line. ;)
