Yes he did. Much to the Hatton's camp disappointment. Now Castillo stays at 140 instead of going to 147. And now Hatton (if he doesn't lose) will have to deal with him. Already a bad weekend for Hatton

dunno if that was sacasem or how u feel, but shit, i have been slightly on edge wondering if he would make 140 tbh... how much truth in it, im not certain, but couple days ago there was talk about him worrying to make 140 and wondering if he should just go straight to 147... glad its happening though

Well, the one good thing from those weights is that Hatton was under the limit, so he should be able to get down for a few more fights, i imagine that the ability to get down to a weight goes incrementally, but top news, and cc for your sterling work bro.

Naah man, I'm just saying that as he gets older and his career moves on that he is going to struggle making it down to the weight, same as every other fighter. I was a little concerned that not having been at 140 for over a year, it might be getting hard for him. by nailing 139, he showed he still can, and that return to 147 won't be for a while yet.

He had a 13 week training camp to bring it down correctly. I think he will make it for a couple of years yet regardless of how he balloons between fights.
He has been at fighting weight for almost a week so he didn't have to tackle weight loss, fighting with his body clock, the altitude change and jetlag. He has also had flu!

just over a week ago hatton was 137 lol he hada put on weight;) i honestly believe if he stayed in training after his fight he could make 135 pretty easy... shocked how him v pac at 135 has never really been thought of...

I have been on the forum for two minutes and figured him out. Never mind eh....
Unless you're in a discussion about a Mexican fighter, or one of latino descent and style, you'll likely not get much love out of the VD. Personally, if I see a comment from VD tonight saying that he has even partially been impressed with Hatton, then you know Hatton will have been like greased lightning. Not expecting it though.

Media and all were there to greet him upon his arrival to the hotel and chatted up for about 30 min. before walking up to his room...
As far as the tele goes ESPN has mentioned it and did like a 3 min. thing on the card....

Crazy how urango looked loaded with muscle, wheras Castillo looked very smooth at 10 stone?
Perhaps Castillo is better at 147 in the long run afterall.
Beats me how he made the lower weights as long as he did!
