Holy hell that could be the main event. I think Miranda wins big though. Just not a believer in Green. Not really a believer in Miranda either but I think he has the tools to beat Miranda. I'll elaborate in a bit but CC for the news. I saw them showing Miranda on FNF but had the headphones on so I couldn't hear.

:coolclick: Totally agree 100% with you. I aint sold on Green & I think that he's an unproven hype machine. He's gonna be in for a rude awakening once popped.
Miranda has grown on me...but he's a bit too limited for me to put all my cards into the hat. Thing is...lately...most of the middles are flawed in more ways than one.
Still...there are many many bouts that I want to see made. Miranda & his power can clean out some of the dead weight in the ranks.

I got Miranda mid-late 8 or 9 round ko, a few knockdowns then one final curtain. Edison is the shit, Although everyone had Codrington as their pick and wtf happened to him, although Miranda proved himself against Abraham he's one of the big boys at Middleweight.

The fight is going to be won at whatever distance they fight at. Green is faced with the task of keeping Miranda on the outside and scoring with the big 1,2. No one has been able to keep Miranda outside as of yet. Abraham circled a bit and gave him a few different looks and everything but Green isn't going to win the same way Abraham did. So how do you keep him on the outside? It's something no one has done yet so it'll be interesting to see how Green handles it. If the fight goes on the inside then it is Green's fight to lose.
But Green is so chinny. Miranda or Lacy eats him alive. If anything he is tailor made for them. The only way he wins is if he can establish distance and use straight punching to punch inside of Miranda's wide punching. But Miranda may punch wide but his stance is tight so that could present some problems to. However, I'm not so sure that Green is faster then Miranda especially in terms of hand speed and Green can not trade with Miranda punch for punch. Especially with his long arms on the inside. I think it'll be fun for a while, with both fighters hurting each other early but Miranda wins in fairly dominating fashion.

CC, I agree... Thing is, that the resiliance Green showed against McRary, shouldn't mean a damn thing in this fight, because if Miranda has him as hurt as that guy did, it's over(that fight could have been over anyways, but Green wouldn't recover this time). I see it as Allan Green having to fight intelligently to win, personally. He clearly couldn't take one of Mirandas best shots. It's also really going to come down to whether he can make middleweight comfortably.. He's not one of those guys that looks huge for their weight or anything, he's pretty trim at SMW so Im wondering where the 8 pounds are going to come from.

I feel that this is one of those rise to the occasion fights.. the kind of fight Green comes in strong . I see Miranda getting caught and having some troubles in this match as a result. I am predicting fireworks here ! I would not be shocked to see Miranda get knocked down get up and then win by knockout.. that’s how I see this fight .

Here's a little something I'm curious about from both of ya as far as Miranda is concerned...
Would you rather see him stick around at 160lbs or would you rather see him move up to 168 & then 175? Personally...I'd rather see him stay at 160lbs.
I know that's rush talk considering that he's just making his mark at 160lbs...but with Miranda's frame...he could move up fairly easily...but could he be effective is what I'm wondering?
Also...has anyone heard him say whether or not he has issues making the weight?
He seems to be pretty dedicated to his trainning regimen.
Anywho...that's plenty of questions all rolled up at once...anyone who cares to answer...hit me up with it. Like I said...for some reason...over the last couple of weeks Miranda's been starting to grow on me.

CC back, I think that as long as Miranda can make middleweight, he should do so. He is not the type of fighter who will be able to do as well in different weight divisions unless he truly outgrows 160 and has to move up. He doesn't have the skillset to just jump around divisions, or even move up whatsoever prematurely, imo. The guy has real power, and can seemingly take a very good punch, but he isn't a skilled fighter. So logically, if he moves up, he's just going to be hit harder, and his punches will have less effect. The latter obviously does depend on whether he is currently struggling to make weight. I haven't heard as such but either way he won't be as effective at any higher a weight imo. Personally I think it's quite a huge advantage that Green is moving down to middleweight to fight him. Id call it a toss up at super middle, now I'd hav e to say I expect Miranda to KO green.

Pantera has said that he wants to stay at 160 for ever (like Hopkins, someone he has great respect for). I don't see this as being realistic though. He is a very very very big middleweight and he does have to work very hard to get down to weight. I have a feeling his goal is to get to Taylor and than maybe move on. Until he gets a shot at Taylor though he is not going anywhere!
He is very pumped for this fight against Green. His trainer, Jose Bonilla, said he wants to give Puerto Rico a great fight and an even better KO.
I see Miranda tagging Green pretty early and stunning him. Green will be on queer street and retreat. Miranda will trap him against the ropes and fire hard. Hopefully the ref will step in early enough and call the fight before Green gets hurt badly!

I like both fighters but I think when Green got stunned he just took his opponent way too lightly but he has shown he can get up and win and that's a great attribute to have.
Miranda just isn't as good of a BOXER....I love watching him fight but he's the most onesided fighter since Julian Jackson.
This will be a GREAT fight....I do have to pick Green simply because he's a big boy and he can box pretty good when he has to
