Green v. Miranda in March!!! AAAAWWWWWWW!!!

This is going to be one of the greatest showdowns of contenders in many years. Wherever you are, make sure you are watching this one!

I don't know what you know about these two across the pond (UK), so please chime in with your opinion.

I think it is a mixture of both that will be revealed in the ring in March.

Green has been brave in his journey forward, but he has never faced a fighter like Miranda. EM has championship rounds and KO's against world class opponents.

On the other side, Green is clearly the boxer with the sharper punches, and he is used to fighting at SuMwt.

A little of both. Green it seems to me has been labeled overrated based on his fight in which he was knocked down. Yes Green was dropped and he was hurt. There is no debating that. But Green got up and came back to knock the guy out. With a very impressive left hook. Keep in mind Green got dropped with a punch he never saw coming. The worse punch a fighter can get hit with. Doesn't mean his chin is as weak as people make it out to be. Green is also so a natural Super Middleweight. He's coming down to 160. He will be the bigger man. Miranda power is impressive and him knocking out Green would not shock me. I just don't see it happening. Miranda is still raw. He swings for the fences with almost every swing. Green has the boxing skills to take advantage of that.

Damn fine, you've basically organised all my thoughts, Green is the truth, and people read too much into him getting stung by that bum, but Miranda is a big ass puncher, but can be outboxed by smart fighters, and Green can box. Both are somewhat untested, and Green has faught and handled 168, thats why the match-up is so good.

I go with Miranda.....Greens best is early...He comes out strong and jumps on his guys quick...But I don't think he can keep the pace up for long he will slow by the 5th...Miranda can keep pace....I also don't think Green will be so eager to jump on Miranda so much once he gets a feel of Mirands power taking away Greens advantage by jumping on his opp early and overwhelm

Tough fight to pick a winner in but I'll go with Miranda.

Miranda will make him look silly early. And I bet that Miranda will be he larger man in the ring come fight night.

Pantera you don't wanna be a one ball wonder, I'd bet he outweighs Green, but not 5 pounds, what was he, 171 against gibbs?

Both fighters walk around in their 180's. Usually, Green weighs in around 165. Miranda, because he has been in higher stake fights has had to make 160. They agreed to fight at 162. I bet both of them will be at least light heavys on fight night.

Still, I say Miranda has the rounds with the better fighters. This will be Green's shining moment.

Completely disagree with you. Green tends to fight down to the level of his opponents. He can't afford to make mistakes against Miranda. And he knows it. This will be Green's second coming out fight. And he will take advantage of it.

Come on Mick, Gibbs got the fight based on a loss and his relationship to Bernard Hopkins. Other than that he sucks. Ravelo at least is a former Olympian. Green has good boxing skills to go with his power. .

I've never seen miranda TBH but have heard good things about him.

I've seen greene a few times on FNF and ain't impressed and i have a ? mark over his chin. He looked pretty bad in the two fights and only looked good against 'no 1 daddy' which isn't anything i want to know about.

Looking forward to it though...

Say what you will VD but IMO Miranda is damn impressive and can do it for all 10/12 rounds

I'd take the chance! He was 175lbs offically for the Gibbs fight, and that was weighing in at 160lbs.

Fine he made the no-chin having Gibbs look silly. Green made Jaidon Codrington look silly. Green (who's fought as a Light Heavyweight before) ain't Gibbs, so what exactly is your point?

Well, my first point was to tell you, unlike you said, that Miranda CAN make people look silly.
My second point (we will have to wait and see) is that I think he will make Green look pretty silly too. Maybe not as much as Gibbs, but I see an early round stoppage from Pantera.
