Daniel Ponce De Leon-Gerry Penalosa
This is what is listed as De Leon's next fight. I cant wait for this one it should really be a good fight to watch. De Leon i feel will be incontrol of this fight and i can see a late stoppage. What do you think will happen in this fight? I hope it will be a good one to watch :)

CC back bro! i feel De Leon is a very big name and i think a fight like this is a good move and i feel a couple more of fights against bigger names like Gerry will lead him to a shot against Vazques or Marquez! fighting Celestino Caballero would be a good move imo.

i dont know about vazques or marquez for de leon anytime soon yet, but penalosa should be a good fight for him.Caballero can be next though.

CC tAM,GOOD NEWS MY MAN..I don't think Ponce wants to fight Caballaro again,not for a while. This is a good fight,I'd favour Ponce. I'm a big fan of his even though I know he has many deficits,there's just something I like about the guy.

CC back bro, i just feel if he fought Caballaro again it would show that he was a true champ and he wants to make his record better, it would also be a unification fight right? im looking forward to a future match-up but i feel Gerry is a dangerous man and this will be a tough fight for him.

Gerry is waaaay past his best days he struggled really bad in his last fight against the very limited Maurico Martinez, though I credit Martinez for being in the ring with is good share of opponents, but hes pretty much lost all of his important bouts.....
Daniel IMO will stop Gerry, youth, strength and that damn!! right hand that Deaniel carries will do the job. I say rd. 7 via TKO.....

I not sure about the possible outcome of this fight but all I can say is that Gerry has a tremendous heart, and not only that, he still has that hunger inside him, especially after seeing his good friend Pac's success. But will that be enough to get him through... maybe not... or from a proud and biased pinoy himself, maybe.

Cheers bro i owe you one. I do think Gerry has the heart and the tools to push De Leon but i feel that he will crumble over the power of him at this later stage of his carrer.

still not sold on De leon, not really his fault, last 2 fights he sparked a guy in in seconds, was hard to see how good a boxer he was then, and the following fight, and his last i believe they guy looked shit scared of him and run the entire fight making it hard for De Leon to look good...
hope he fights someone soon who will actualy try in there, and wont get kod in the first round so ic ann get a decent idea of him

gerry is gReat but his past it bRo, don't get me wrong gerry has a good chance because he is a former champ but daniel i think should win this, but i won't be suprise if the old lion penalosa pull off a win.

CC back bro. I just feel that Gerry has taken this fight on a bit too late and he is 34 now right? De Leon im sure is 27 and he is in his prime. This is the make or break period for De Leon and i cant see Gerry getting in the way of that. I feel he will be a good name to put on De Leons record but Gerry is past his best and De Leon is at his best therfore a stoppage i think will be on the cards. But i know Gerry is a man of great heart and he's an awesome fighter and i think he will put on a good fight but he is fighting a very tough fighter in taking on De Leon and it may lead that Gerry may have to go into retirement because getting a world belt will not be on the cards.

De Leon would not be put off by that he swings wild and i can see him catching Gerry easily.
