Whadaya reckon?
Didn't realise he got a brain injury from the hatton fight, do you reckon they'll let him fight if it's true?
IMO i would only like to see him come back at 147 and fight a big name. If he was coming back at 140 to fight a no name i really dont feel he should bother. Tsyzu aint got anything to prove imo.
That ass whoppin he took from Phillips was legendary

Kostya Vs Cotto at 147 would be a great fight and a real test for cottos chin at the higher weight. If he could stop Kostya and prove he has a decent chin he would silence a lot of critics imo includin me
yeah cotto would silence a lot if he beat tszyu. but more than likely kostya would have a warm up fight at welter with a lesser opponent first if that fight were to happen, which i don't particualy wan't to see. the way tszyu trains i don't think he will necasarily need a warm up fight. i would love ot see tszyu vs margarito
As much as I rate Kostya, he really should stay retired. One more fight proves nothing. He has been out for a long time since Hatton and before that had fought only once in a very, very long time...
He is in his late 30's and has fought a handful of fights in 5 years...If he was to come back it should have been sooner, now he should just bow out...
He has his pride still intact, no need to take any more risks....
if tsyzu is gonna come out of retirement, he should as well go after the biggest fish around. pretty boy maywheater. at 147 i would love to see pbf vs tsyzu. koysta tsyzu would look good on pbf resume, or the old lion koysta can put little floyd to sleep.
It would have been interesting several years ago.Quote:

Yep agreed. So what if he lost to a possesed Ricky Hatton that night, lets be honest that was no longer a Prime Kostya, he has nothing to prove and should be remembered as a great boxer.Quote:

Tszyu sealed his legacy as an all time great 140 pounder years ago.
One more loss or win wont change that.
I agree, not really anything to prove, he is about 38 years old, a rematch with Hatton would be my only desire if I was Kostya, other then that I would simply enjoy retirement. O0
hmmmmmmmmmm i LOVE KT man! but the ring rust will probably be a murder in his performance? im not really feeling anyone for his swan song except a revenge rematch with hatton in vegas so hatton couldnt fight dirty and get away with it.
Sadly, it would be a shame if Tszyu cameback at the age of 38 in (Oct) and made a fool of himself.
Boxers in the 140 or 147lb division just don't make it anymore in the bigtime at that age.
Chavez, Duran, Hearns, Leonard etc all lost to guys they would have easily beaten in their prime.
I guess it's just an ego thing with boxers, Tszyu against Cotto or Mayweather 5 years ago would have been magic. The only opponent i see for him is Mosely who is only a couple of years his junior.
Taking on Cotto now would be foolish.
