i think ricky would get really badly beaten boy de la hoya, as is aid befor ei think could be righting at 135 if he trained right, 140 should be his limit, oscar will make him look tiny

Hatton's a big draw.. But DLH could make an absurd amount of money fighhting anybody if he actually manages to beat Mayweather. I doubt he sees Hatton as the next biggest payday, just an easy fight for him, I dont think anyone in boxing will take this seriously most of all Hatton. I love how Oscar says he'll go down to welterweight to fight Hatton though, when he makes Floyd come up to 154.. Not that Ricky could go up higher it just shows he wanted the edge over PBF and could make welter.

Nah! JLC doesn't posses the same KO power he did in the lower div.
IMO it didn't carry over well.....
Add to the fact that Hatton has good wiskers. and IMO JLC won't KO him.....

Id just suffice it to say ricky hatton better prepare to actually FIGHT 12 ROUNDS this time.. he's not going to get a free ticket after the 7th or 8th round, Castillo may be on the slide but he's savvy enough to capitalize if Hatton foolishly isn't conditioned well again.. Or maybe they are just both on the slide?? Hatton hasn't exactly been too fresh in the championship rounds for his last 2 fights.. Plus Castillo does have good body work. If Urango took some of the fight out of him with a couple good shots, Castillos going to be able to do much more. I really hope both of these guys can come in better shape then they did for the last fight. And I don't want to hear anything about how Hatton is so well conditioned, maybe he can be, let's see. I just really find it hard to imagine that anyone could picture Hatton getting away with just hanging on and coasting the late rounds against Castillo..

Correction, 48,000 pissed up Mancs in the City of Manchester stadium. I'd give my left bollock for that fight to happen, win lose or draw it would be so great, especially in Manchester.

Judging them both by their last 2 fights they have both looked unimpressive and IMO, I would probably resort to a coin toss to decide the winner... :(

i dunno mate. castillo is a very dangerous fighter, but i just think hatton will do whatever it takes to beat him. the body shots thing will be everyone's main concern at hatton because of the urango fight. but i have seen so many reasons why ahatton will beat him in all the fights i have seen of the two. just much more pace, ferocity and angles coming from ricky.

Yep, but Castillo will still be there to fight after 7 or 8 rounds, unlike Urango. You can't say it's shit to say he won't be "more than ready" to do 12 rounds.. I m not talking just last the rounds, like he did after the 8th round against Urango... With Castillo he will actually have to fight in those rounds as well. THat's the difference. Id expect Hatton to win the early rounds quite impressivly maybe even.

Castillo is a world-class operator, but i didn't see him looking too clever in Vegas - i was disappointed with his conditioning and i know the lay-off hasn't helped, but i thought we'd see him hungry & reborn following the break plus the comfort of making 140 - like Cotto at 147 if that makes sense?
Either way, i dont think either Ricky or José will be taking their clash lightly.

ODH Vs Hatton was almost a done deal 2 days before Mayweather decided he was gonna take the fight... might have been mind games on DLH's part to force Mayweathers hand to make the fight but team hatton were in advanced talks at the time to the point of announcing it.

Oscar would make a bucketload of fold if his opponent were a bookcase.
As much as a weight drain is a disadvantage to Oscar, so is fighting at 147 for Ricky.
He's just not quick enough and at 147 he's just not strong enough.
Oscar would tear him up. Literally. I say tko stopped on cuts within 6 rounds.
Not a good fight for Oscar, not a good fight for Ricky.
The only person who would benefit is Ricky's accountant.
