:coolclick: Cool interview.
CC. How can anyone not root fot that guy? I liked the part when he said kids should not watch the rematch between he and Abraham if it happened.
Yeah. ;D That was classic. I feel bad for Abraham if he gets in the ring with him again. However, Miranda stated that he wouldn't fight in Germany. So I guess a rematch is never going to materialize.Quote:

Good points by both of you...but the Abraham Miranda fight wasn't the rob & run that most Miranda fans claim it to be. Controversial? You bet...but Abraham cracked Miranda & Miranda's limitations were pushed to the limits just as much as Abraham's were.Quote:

It's a shame...but Abraham aint the only one quilty of it.
Yeah I agree. Although I think Abraham fought well up to that point when his jaw broke but I don't think he wants to see how his surgery will hold up against Mirandas power.Quote:

What does being cocky have to do with it? Miranda can pack a good punch and has been in there with the better opposition. Pavlik better fight a top tier fighter before getting in the ring with Miranda or it will be an early night for Pavlik. Further, I don't like much of the news I hear coming out of his camp about trainers. Loyalty is a commendable attribute, but he can at least get a top trainer to co-train with his current one.Quote:

I wouldn't call him cocky either. Determined is more like it.Quote:

Miranda's power is frightening. He could end the fight at anytime. In my opinion he comes off more confident than cocky. I know there is a fine line but he walks it well. Besides why wouldn't the guy be confident? He has been tearing through the division and would be an undefeated champion if not for the bogus Abraham decision.
I wish hopkins was still a middle so he could make Miranda look stupid with his boxing genius. Miranda would over punch ever time. Hopkins up, under and over faints would embarrass him. Technique.
Really? Because I seem to remember an unpolished Jermaine Taylor beating Hopkins twice. Taylor is a very good fighter in his own right but to say that Hopkins would embarrass Miranda is crazy. Maybe he could steal a decision by running away from Pantera but even that is doubtful. Hopkins is an all time great however at this point in his career he is best served fighting guys his own age like Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright if he is to stand a chance of embarrassing anybody.
Totally agree,B Hop may be technically superior to Miranda but no way he's going to embaress Miranda. No way.
Excellent example overhand right,JT used his brute strenght and force and he beat Hopkins. Miranda would also be letting his hands go more. It's not a fight B Hpp would want at this time.No way.
I agreed up until Winky's name came up. Winky will never be embarassed by Hopkins. Winky is too good for that and he's no Tarver.Quote:

Also at 170 pounds Winky might have some problems. He is definitely as skilled if not more skilled than B-Hop but Winky didn't have much pop at Jr. Middle or Middleweight so fighting Hopkins at 170 might be a problem. Honestly I think that right now Miranda might be too much for either of them.
