Steve mac is so out of his depth as Englands Boss and i honestly think he just picks his fave players,put's them in a position................ and then not much else.

are you fookin joking. you can't drop gerrard. he's the man. and lampard is awesome aswell but he's just having a bit of a dry spell in scoring when it comes to playing internationally. we were shocking yesterday really and just because it was a friendly is absolutly no excuse to lose to spain. we are england for fook sake, we should be winning every game. steve mac should step aside. so far i reckon i would do a better job.

Yeah!! I saw it didn't like the way either team played. Neither team controlled the tempo. and to me it was as if the USA did not have a game plan. They tried playing 1 touch game for a while but they were giving up the ball and making a lot of mistakes. Mexico had some idea as far as a plan but luck of the draw is the way it goes, Mexico could have easily shut out the States.
Yeah! that was wrong what Oswaldo tried to do to Johnson.... >:mad that don't fly with me either.... I also didn't like the fact that 'Univision' reporter walked up to Donovan for an interview and Donovan pushed him out of his was and said 'No' that don't fly with me either....
I don't think Mexico plays dirty, I think the states need to realize that they need to get more physical and get the body in there push and tackle.... If you look at the best Intl. teams across the board thy all play VERY physical and the states hasn't implemented that. IMO it has to do with the fact that they are all young but I hope they soon realize that soccer is as much physical as it is skills.

Landon speaks spanish very well, his girl is Latina if I'm not mistaken from San Diego, Cali.
It's not so much that he didn't wan't to speak to them, it's the fact that 'Univision' is aphiliated with L.A. Galaxy whom he plays for and 'Univision' does promos / events and Landon is the only way to get actual talk from the source (states team) and Univision has always been good to Landon. I'm pretty sure that will change....
Sucks really cause Landons a good guy..... He just lost his cool....

Pretty much same formation barcelona play actually but it seems to work for them. Let Barton and Hargreaves do the donkey work and move the ball forward to Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney where they can be dangerous. It allows Gerrard and Lampard to concentrate on attacking without worrying what they are leaving behind them. Using crouch up front will enable him to bring all 3 of the attacking midfielders into play.
Beckham needs to be in the squad.

Lampard is one of the most over rated players in the world and England has to drop him! Stevie G is a player who can score goals,assist,go forward AND DEFEND,he has proved himself on the biggest of stages in the Champions league final and international level.
Lampard,great free kick taker,good long range shots,but he is no box to box player,he hardly ever turns up in a big match and has done NOTHING at international level. Lampard Far far over rated imo, does the eye catching stuff,the 30 yarders etc but Gerrard does so much more.

I've seen a few goals of Adu's on YouTube, he looks fucking phenomenal.
McClaren needs to grow a pair of balls and drop either Stevie G or Lampard. Its blatantly obvious that the two dont play well together, their both similar types of player, attacking midfielders who like to run at defenders and take big shots from 30 yards out. We dont need two of those guys.
Lampard is a great attacker, he's a great goalscorer and has a wicked shot, but I think Gerrard is the more complete player. He can drop back and play in the hole, he can send pin-point passes through, he can do a lot more than just scare defenders. Drop Lampard, put Owen Hargreaves or Joey Barton or someone solid to play deep, so Stevie can come forward and do this thing without leaving the midfield wide open.
Also when you have Rooney playing you dont need TWO attacking midfielders, cozs Rooney likes to play just behind the attacking line and pretty much plays in the same position as Gerrard and Lampard do. We need a bit of strength in the centre, like what Paul Ince or David Batty used to do back in the day.
England with Joe Cole on the left flank, Aaron Lennon on the right and Hargreaves and Gerrard in Midfield would be best. Then we can play two up front, Rooney just behind the target man Crouchy. Until Cole comes back I think that Keiron Richardson is probably the best we can manage on the left flank. He's got a lot to learn, but he's quick, good with his left foot and has a lot of natural talent. Oh shit yeah Lennon's still out too isn't he? Erm fuck knows then, who else have we got on the right who's any good? I mean Shaun-Wright Philips is fast. And thats about it. He needs first team football, he needs to leave chelsea. I'm sure Bolton would love him :D England dont need him. Sorry mate.
Defensively we're sound. John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and Ashley Cole are as reliable as fuck. Gary Neville might be getting on, but y'know what he's been Man Utd's most reliable and consistant player this year, and one of the best right backs ever. No-one has his experience, he's essential until Micah Richards comes of age. I'd like to see the competition between Neville and Richards for that right-back slot, it'd be good for team.
Meh I bet we end up winning Euro 2008 now .

Too green, IMO lacks 'ideas' meaning if hes going forward and has the oppourtunity to pass the ball he'll just anyways.... Not taking into consideration his team mate....
He needs to pick up his head as he has missed several goals that I remember due to the fact that he forgets to look up 1st.......
Funny thing you know who does this a lot the guy in the Argentina video Saviola the only difference is that Saviola IMO has the FWOCKEN rectangle painted in his fucken brain and he knows exactly where hes at and where the goal is at.....
Still Freddy I think he was over hyped for his age at the time he came out they made it seem like he was gonna single handedly change the sport but a las the more psysichal aspect of the sport got the better of him. Meaning once they would put some body on him he was easy to defend against....

At club level, Lampard is the best attackin player going, very consistent, pops up when needed, never has a shit game.
stevie can have a cracker (ie champs league final) or can go missing ( sometimes you can only do as much as the ppl around you)
but in an england shirt its the opposite, lamps goes missing, stevie shines

Barry is a good player i agree but he's a full back not a winger, downing is also good and he stays on the wing, doesnt start wanting to play centre mid, stays on the touchline, what we need is a skillful ronaldo style player who can play on either wing effectivly, very early to say but agbonglahor and luke young look handy
