I was kinda hoping that the thread title might have 'Got his attention'

CC... I definitely liked the article. If only he would give him the rematch now.
nice article. sounds like a fair analysis of the fight from ricky. i'm picking mosley cos i've followed him for years and think he's awesome. but it's gonna be tough and i'll be watching.
You guys I am pumped......this could def. be FIGHT OF THE YEAR material. Hell the undercard kicks a$$ too!
Collazo is going to give Mosley a serious test and Mosley might very well crumble down the stretch. Collazo is underappreciated and underestimated....
I cannot wait for this fight.....
A seriously great fight... I personally think collazo is going to pull it off..
I think mosely has become very flat footed and relied on his handspeed to make the difference for him recently
But on the other hand..Yes mosely is the bigger fighter..And at 147 ..Maybe some of that power will be back at the lower weight..
But i truely believe collazo will give mosely hell because he is plain slick ..
Peace
Nice to see all you guys are vastly overratting Collazo's chances.
I'll say it here and now, Mosely will knock him out with 8 rounds.
It won't be close, Collazo will get brutalised.
No way. It will go the distance, and my main contention is if Mosley really thinks he can outwork Collazo down the stretch. Mosley may very well get old this weekend...Quote:

kel i think (not 100%) that the fight is live on sky sports 2.
i think its a tough one for mosley. collazos style could prove difficult. im gonna stick my neck out and predict an upset
I remember you disagreeing with my prediction that Pacquaio would destroy Morales inside 6 rounds as well Miles ;)Quote:

He can punch from Awkward angles and is a master of distance , Shane will have his work out cutting down the ring on this guy he is not a runner but a tricky fluffer.
Id fancy Collazo against Magarito because somethimes Antonio walks into punches more ,leans and is sometimes off balance .
Shane show glimpses of his old self against Vargas that split second counter punching that use to put people away .
I do think Shane has slowed down though so Collazo might be getting him at the right time , i don't think he'll fight the fight Fernando fought which was clumbsy and foolhardy .
We live and dies by our choices Mr baggins!Quote:

I had a similar discussion with Hulk earlier, and again a friendly :coolclick: for the guy disagreeing with me. Namely you Bilbo and not Hulk for the second time...
Ive outlined my reasons elsewhere on other threads, but I think Collazo is very decent and his performance against Hatton underlines just how good I think Hatton is and that both fighters have not recieved enough respect. Collazo is young and looking to build. And he will test Mosley, Im sure of this. Mosley is the favourite and ive never denied this, but I think Collazo has a very healthy chance...
:coolclick: returned, it's always good to have different viewpoints. Personally I like to make a bold prediction beforehand so that it makes viewing the fight more fun. I'm confident that I won't have any egg on my face after this one though. Mosely to win in style and set himself up for the winner of Mayweather De La Hoya.Quote:

I completely agree. People want to give Collazo too much credit for the Hatton fight, yet these same people admit emphatically that Hatton was nowhere near as effective or as good in general at 147. What people aren't thinking of, and I said this yesterday, Hatton didn't have any problem hitting Collazo often. His problem was that Collazo was the stronger man who could take his shots, and Ricky couldn't take his later on, or out muscle him on the inside. Mosley is both faster and more powerful than Ricky, as well as much stronger with a much better beard, at welterweight.. I don't think Collazo will be able to handle his power whatsoever, or put a dent on him, and therefore won't be able to unload offensively like he could with Ricky.Quote:

The thing is is that Collazo is just so tricky and slick. Mosley is fast but not really the most accurate. I'm just wondering how the exchanges are going to be. Collazo is a very hard fighter to figure out, a very versatile fighter who can give fits from all distances. He can steal a lot of rounds before you can find your groove. I'm predicting a controversial Mosley decision.
Is that a SD or a UD?Quote:

I'm with you on this. I think Mosley is going to punish CollazoQuote:
