CC frozen,at least you aknowledge that now. A real Mexican warrior like Margarito ducks NO ONE.
Even if he doesn't face Williams, he isn't ducking him. But at the same time, Floyd wasn't ducking Margarito either.Quote:

And we shall see what Floyd does after the Oscar fight but I distintcly recall Floyd saying he would meet Margarito somewhere down the line, when it was a bigger fight and Margarito was abigger name. Margarito is becoming a bigger name already...he HAS to beat Williams and Cotto, then no one can deny the Tijuana tornado.Quote:

I was worried Margarito was gonna vacate his title and not face Williams myself. Now the Floyd fans can shut up. However I don't think Margarito has much of a chance against Floyd, he's too slow, and though he hits hard, he's not a one punch guy, so if he did land one on Floyd I don't think it would end the fight.Quote:

As for Floyd Tony,Floyd is with0ut a shadow of a doubt the better fighter and would be a favourite but I just believe thet Tijauna native would give Floyd hell.Quote:

Undefeated prospects have not faired well against Margarito in the past, and I don't think Williams will be the one to break the trend. I see about a 5th round stoppage for Margarito. :) And I see Max Kellerman crying his eyes out afterward. :'( ;D
Williams took Mathysse punches well and that guy had power. And Tony may choose to be more selective with his output a la Cintron fight. I want to hear Kellerman's reaction too,I've never seen an announcer suck someone so hard ;D! Aren't they supposed to be impartial or at least try to be. ???Quote:

Puals punches also lack snap as eveidenced in the Pakua fight whereas Tony was only throwing arm punches v Clottey because he hurt his wrist, his placement and power are usually very good. I don't see Pual hurting Tony but I can see Tony hurting Paul.
I know everyone was saying that, and even though I think the fight should happen, I didn't agree with that. If he beats Cotto and Williams, and Mayweather is still around, he HAS to fight Margarito. I would be right beside you on that. I didn't like Margarito's dismissal of Williams, but if he was to fight Cotto, I couldn't blame him. It would be a bit hypocritical, because he trashed Floyd for doing the same thing.Quote:

Where the hell have I been.
Dude,no wonder some of your posts have made no sense. Basically,Tony is not fighting in March.hes going to honour his mandatory v Williams for $1.2million. However, despite everything being agreed,Arum said he is going to sue Goossen and MARGARITO,for some stupid reason. As of now, there will not be a Cotto fight, not for a while anyway,Quote:

If Margarito does not win,I think I am a dead man on this forum!! ^-^ However Tony knows the significance of the fight and I don't think he'll dissapoint. What makes you think Paul can win?Quote:

I think Williams has a better defense for Tony then Tony does Williams. Williams is right for the most part, just has lapses. He gets caught with those sneaky little punches in transition. That's why he would have so much trouble with most of the top dogs at 147. Except Margarito. Margarito throws flatfooted and squared up for the most part. He's not sneaking in punches anywhere. I just don't think the guy to expose Williams. I'm not saying that Williams walks through Margarito, and it is going to be a very tough fight. But the activity of Williams from the outside and defense from the outside helps him win the fight imo.
But Margarito is a veteran and it's impossible to count a guy with his experience out of a fight versus a prospect. Learned that the hard way.
Try coming back on here after Mayorga vs Delahoya. :'( >:madQuote:
