His last fight was in 1995, and he was Koed in 2 rounds by a guy with a 5-16 record who is now 13-86.. This is just pathetic, even though it says hes only fighting an exhibition. 62?!? Does my head in.

The last thing i read about him he was working on the door at Yates wine lodge on the Wirral, Liverpool. I remember thinking " ever out in liverpool no lipping at the bouncers, especially Yates"
He must have married a scouse bird an settled over here.

Its only an exhibition. Joe Frazier just recently did the same thing. It was a fundraser though and he wasnt trying to show the young guys "how its done"

Well shavers was 6' 210 and had trouble against good jabbers, and more against movers. So he would have no chance against the very slick, athletic and agile Valuev
He did always have a punchers chance and came inches away from a huge KO of Larry Holmes in the 7th round of their second fight. That would have been something!
74-14-1 with 68 KO's! wow!

Liverpool, I actually saw him tonight when I was in town, he still works on the door at Yates'.He's 62, but he still looks in decent nick, he looks like he's in his mid 50's. Still way to old to be fighting but looks like he needs the money.
