Hope he can get his career back on track he could win a world title ;D
Tua needs to stay busy and just try to build up some form. He isnt ready for a shot yet, not even against these beltholders...
I think Tue coming back to get a Title is a long shot, but i would love to see it happen - always had alot of respect for that guy.
if he gets in decent shape an is back knocking people out, do you think Tua v Peter would be good matchup?
Tua vs Peter would be an awesome fight yes please for 2007 that would be brill
I think Peter would stop him being honest. I may look attractive but imo it wouldnt last too long.Quote:

Valuev would KILL! Tua trust me. he would use that reach and he wouldnt let him get near him. I would say an easy 2-3 round ko for Valuev here.Quote:

i doubt that barret managed to go 11 tua has iron chin and even if he is past it he would last a lot longer than 3 rounds and possibly if he hit valuez with one of his power punches valeuv would be on his backsideQuote:

I very much doubt he would last very long IMO. the sheer size and weight advatage over Tua at this carrer IMO would be far too much for him to handle and i cant see him doing well at all, he is shit now Tua and Valuev would OWN him! IMO ;DQuote:

oh awesome this should be great!!!!!!!
another big fat failure returns to save boxing.....he's got as much of a chance of saving boxing as he does of saving anyone leftovers
What cave did you crawl out of? Are you insane. That's one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read. :LOLATYOU: :plzdie: :sadclick:Quote:

so long away from boxing and ageing it maybe a tough road back..................but if he's seroius and focued then who knows. i'd like to see him become world champ
Did David Tua get knocked out cold by Felix Savon
I aint gona SC you back cos i never Sc anyone but i really think Valuev would stop him early. at this stage of his carrer anyway. hes just too dam good for Tua imo.Quote:

Did someone say Tua beats Valuev?? LMAO!!! HA hA hAAAAA!!!
Look at these pics....
First is Valuev Vs Ruiz
Ruiz is 6' 2" with a 78" reach
Tua is 5' 10" with a 70" reach
IF that was Tua beside Valuev his shoulder would be 4" lower than Ruiz's shoulder
So if Tua's arm was also at a 90' angle his fist would be 4" below Valuevs chin
ALSO since Tua's reach is 8" (4"/arm) his arm reaches 4" less than Ruiz's, assume that that 4" is divided between his upper arm and forearm equally then his forearm alone is 2" shorter tha Ruiz's so now the fist is 6" BELOW the bottom of Valuev head WHEN HE IS STANDING CHEST TO CHEST!
To hit Valuev "on the button" his arm would be almost straight up when he's standing chest to chest and if he's say 4 feet away he couldn't REACH Valuev AT ALL!!
try it yourself. Draw a circle on the wall with the top of it at 7' 3 1/2" make it big (like valuevs head!)
Now stand a ways away and you'll see (if your 5' 10") that you cant reach it!! (almost)
PLUS! Valuev LIKES to fight inside!! he loves throwing hooks and uppercuts and holding and leaning all over you with 350 pounds! ITs just GROSS!! Really there should be a SuperHeavy div for these guys!
Look at Tua beside Lewis at 6'5" now imagine almost a foot taller!!
Tua could shave the top of his head flat so Valuev could rest a beer on it!
Valuev is listed at 7' but his manager saiod he is actually 7' 3 1/2" but hey dont want to scare off opponents as they had a VERY hard time finding guys to fight him
He has VERY heavy hands! he just doesnt load up on his shots very often. When he lands a right hand it comes from about 9 miles away and then "CRACK" game over.
If Tua looked like sh1t against Lewis...he will look worse against Valuev. He would NEVER take the fight and i don't think Valuev would either as he is quite concious of teh freak image and doesn't want to highlight his size buy taking on such a small Heavy..it's a no win either way for him.
so you think an easy ko for valuev then? ive CC it made me laugh haha!Quote:

I take it you didn't see Briggs vs. Serguei..... :-\Quote:

I ain't no Valuev fans but I sure as hell know Briggs ain't stopping him or anyone else of the top Heavys.
(Don't get your feathers ruffled landmine ;) ;D but thats just the truth)
you rekon he could ever even get a world title shot again? i think he would get beaten easily imoQuote:

Valuev gets beat in 2007 thats my opinion :lickish:

Now there's a waste of talent if I ever saw one. I remember when Tua was coming up.... he had that awesome KO power and that scary left hook. Took John Ruiz apart inside of one round.
Then came the "snoozefest" with Lennox Lewis, and it's been downhill ever since. What a tremendous disappointment. Many were hoping he'd be the second coming of Mike Tyson, but he never quite lived up to expectations.
Considering the sorry state the HW division has been in the past few years, Tua could've been a significant force for awhile.
