Rocky 1&2 are great. Haven't seen 6, but I heard that it's good. Raging Bull is probably my all time favorite though.
PS- I rented Annapolis at the resort in Florida when I didn't even know it was a boxing movie, and let me tell you...it sucks!
Always loved Raging Bull and Rocky 1
More recent though I thought Cinderella Man was bloody brilliant.
Rocky 1,2,5 and 6 ,raging bull and cinderella man :lickish:
You liked Rocky 5 above 3 and 4 TysonBruno?
all rockys and raging bull love parts with joe pesci and robert de niro classic ;)
yes i thought 3 and 4 were abit far fetched
Punching him at the breakfast table ;DQuote:

Yeah I suppose they all are apart from the first one but I always had the 5th as the weakest of the 6 maybe because of the poor story.Quote:

The champ is brill i forgot about that and milion dollar baby thats good only thing with rocky 5 that did my head in was in 4 his kid was about 6 in 5 he was about 13 how long does it take to fly back from russia not 7 year i know
Cinderella Man, Raging Bull. Rocky I. I remember seeing The Champ as a kid and liking it then, but I don't remember anytime about it except the ending.
million dollar baby is the best one recently. made my ex missus cry her eyes out. buti wsa very impressed with rocky 6 when i saw it. was much better than i thought it would be.
I thought Ali was quite horrible.Quote:

The movie would've made a lot more sense to make had they actually made it feel like more of a personal story.
Instead, the film just jumps from event to event basically recreating many moments that are already captured on film to begin with.
They spend about 5 minutes of the movie on Frazier while just rushing through everything. The challenge was to fit his whole life into one movie when you could easily make 4 or 5 movies of different aspects of his life.
It's like a documentary with re-enactments.
I'd highly recommend "When we were kings" over "Ali" to anyone who wants a glimpse into Ali's world.
Forgot a few...
Diggstown- horrible boxing action, but an entertaining story.
Kings of The Ring (documentary)- awesome movie about the great champs Dempsey thru Tyson
And Tysonbruno, I totally agree about the kid in Rocky four and five. I noticed the kid aged six years in a couple of months too.
"The Boxer" with Daniel Day Lewis is cracking he's ex IRA trying to go straight but they won't let him. And "Cinderella Man" thats a real life Rocky story enjoyed that, did Max Baer really kill two opponents?
He killed one opponent, and was supposedly never the same after it. Cinderella Man gave a very inaccurate portrayal. Max Baer was a clown out of the ring. They just needed a villian so they could make thier holiday movie magic.
yeah Baer was even DQ'd for clowning around during a fight "they called it stalling" he was basically 6'5 emanuel augustus with power ;DQuote:

'Somebody up there likes me' is the best, even Stallone clocked it for his Rocky movie.
Rocky is just a remake of that. Cinderella Man was good and yes Max Baer was treated harshly.
If they made a new movie about Joe Louis poor Max Schmelling would be portrayed as a demon!
That's Hollywood
i guess ur right but the question was movies not documetaries u noQuote:

It is Korean, but if you don't mind subtitles... in my opinion it is one of the best. Awesome storyline and one of the best and most dedicated actors in the business.
