Wlad. Easily. Not saying he's a great or that noone could beat him, but he'd beat any other titleholder most of the time, imo. God the division is garbage though. If there were one fighter who could box and punch, throw more than 5 punches a round, who knew how to put shots together and could take a few licks himself, Id pick them over Wlad. But there literally isn't.
Matt Skelton is the truth.
Once he gets past Sprott...well wait and see.
He looked like Ali in the rematch against Williams, dancing around him all fleet footed.
He's the complete package imo
I would say the heavyweight division has'nt been this dry ever we have a major drought
Klit
I like Matt Skelton he is rough house but it works he breaks fighters down his stamina is unbelieveable
To be honest although I was joking I really do think he could take out Maskaev and Briggs.Quote:

If they can claim Tony Thompson is now a genuine top 10 fighter then Skelton can't be far off.
wlad is the best by far. valuev and oleg are ripe for the pickin as soon as they fight someone decent (vitali will beat oleg) and i'm undecided about briggs. got stamina problems though aparently.
I feel sorry for Matt Frank Warren should be moving him on now away from domestic level but i feel Shannon could knock any of the other champs out.
I agree with most people on here . Wvlad is the best champ by far . No contest really
I'd put Valuev as second . He may not be capable of much but cuz of his awkwardness I give him the edge over teh other two rivals who are really poor champs .
Briggs needs stamina and workrate , two things he will never have . He has power and if he catches anyone he can be dangerous but he's a vunerable champ
Oleg I still cant belive is teh WBC champ . He must be better than I give him credit for cuz he's made 1 defence and won the title by K.O but I feel he is awful . His recent run of form is encouraging to other journeymen heavyweights but I cant see him staying champ for long . Saying that though there aint many threats out there
....did you make this thread to get landmine in here to yammer on about that big fucking yehti???

Valuev would be second mostly due to him being so tall. Not a lot of skills but his height gives him a good advatage over the other two.
Oleg worst of the bunch, slow plodding. Does have a good chin and power and because of that you really cant rule him out of a fight against any of the others. The only reason he is third is because he would beat Briggs.
Briggs would be last. If he could fix his stamina issues he would rival Wlad. Briggs has good hand speed and power, but due to lack of stamina cant put good combos together for long or throw more than 5 punches a round past the first. Got extremely lucky against Lykhovich.
Wlad
Briggs
Oleg
Valuev
OBVIOUSLY Valuev at 46-0 is the premier fighter in the world today in any weight catagory.
besides him.....I think Briggs (even tho' he looked like sh1t in the sergei fight) has the
tools to be a real darkhorse in the division.
Speed ,size,power,great counter punching.
If the stamina and punch output issue can be delt with,he can be the real deal.
Till he meets Valuev and like all 46 before him...gets destroyed.
I have these two the other way round on my list but styles make fights and Oleg may just be too busy for a plodding Briggs . But also Valuevs style would suit Briggs more . Shannon needs a stationary target in order for him to unload . If he got close to Valuev he would let his combos go and im sure Valuev would fall under the attack . Nikolay wouldnt box and move . Theyd meet center ring and I'd have to go with the quicker more powerful guy . So the bottom 3 could really be in any order but we cant dispute that Wvlad is a deserving number 1 . He'd blast Maskeav out in no time .He'd be cautious against Briggs but force a mid - late round stoppgae when the Yanks stamina had gone and he'd jab Valuevs head off for 12 rounds.Quote:

Wlad is the best in my opinion, but until they unify it is only speculation. Until we get back to knowing who the true Heavyweight champ is the division will continue to be an afterthought. At welter you have Floyd, at lightweight you have Pac man, but at heavyweight its all speculation. If they all fought, I think Wlad comes out on top.
wlad is the man at heavy but seriously how long has it been since we had a heavy weight unification?
Easily Wlad, and we really are due a unification bout of some sort. These "champs" get the belts and they just dont fight enough.
wlad, valuev, oleg, briggs
All still beatable by CORRIE SANDERS
wlad still doesnt have the tools to see the left, Valuev was humiliated in sparring w Corrie, oleg is too slow, briggs is too slow and tired.
Despite going 8 rounds and not going down, and getting him to fall down in the first, I think that VITALI can beat Sanders everytime, but Wlad cannot. So SANDERS beats Briggs or Vlauev or mask or chagaev... and then he gets a rematch w a Klitschko
I fancy Wlad's chances vs Sanders if there was a rematch
Valuev EATS Corrie Sanders and passes him out as a turd!Quote:

Honestly...I haven't been in the same boat with the majority of boxing fans concerning matters of 200+.
Sure I miss Vitali & Lennox...but the division aint as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
I like Sam Peter alot & Wlad has grown on me as a spot filler for Vitali. In the end...Wlad's more skilled than his big brother...but just a bit less effective.
Samuel Peter shows much promise &, IWO, he's a damned exciting fighter that is...shockingly improving. He's basically a knockout artist that's turning into a boxer now. He did what no one has done what no other heavyweight has...& quite simply that is to beat & plant Toney's ass on the mat. I was thrilled.
I also think that Valuev is good for the sport if he continues to keep winning & fights some more names. The thing about Valuev is that I got into him mainly as a novelty of sort & then realized that he's also improving & might have something to offer the game.
Yes he will have something to offer the sport....Quote:

oh ya.....and those Teen Idol good looks!
Wlad
but id like to see him againest Valuev
Yes, Wlad has a good chance. But will he be able to so improve that none of Sander's fast bombs hits? Remember the Vitali fight; Sanders was still standing in the 8th! Imagine having to avoid that left for many rounds. Plus; hes not going to be so confident against Corrie. I think that Ill be one of those fights like MASKAEV RAHMAN where it looks like the loser has learnt his lesson..... and then bam!Quote:

Lennox Lewis was supposed to fight Wladimir the #1 contender HOWEVER, Lewis took a tune up fight vs Kirk Johnson (which didn't pan out either) and so Wlad had to fill the gap and did it with Sanders....bad move.
With time to FOCUS on Corrie Sanders instead of focusing on not getting a well deserved shot at THE title, Wladimir would come in with a different attitude.
And remember Sanders was standing in round 8 but he stopped throwing punches in about round 3
Valuev is garbage!
It's been four years, Wlad has learned a lot,Sanders would catch hell.
