Which PPV's did you regret buying?
There were quite a few for me, but in recently, i would have to say PBF vs Baldo, Tyson vs Lewis, and RJJ vs Prince Badi Ajamu.

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?
Barrera-Juarez II. And the undercard was actually really entertaining, but the main event was a snoozer.
I also remember during Tito-Vargas.... when Vargas went down 20 seconds into the fight, I was screaming at the TV, "I paid $50 for a 20 second fight?!?!"
Of course Vargas got up and it turned out to be one of the best PPVs I've ever ordered.

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?
None, I always look closely at the entire card and decide wether the card is good enough or not to purchase.... 8)
PBF vs. Baldo - Didn't buy
MAB vs. Fana - Didn't buy
RJJ vs. Ajamu - Didn't buy
Tyson vs. Lewis - Didn't buy
8)

Come on SweetPea,
even if Vargas would have stayed down you got a chance to see the GREAT 'Finito' Lopez prior to his retirement. I know a lot of people who never had a chance to see him....

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?
nothing beats the dkp mega-event that seemed like an absolute steal at $49.95
[i]HASIM RAHMAN VS. MONTE BARRETT[i]
i remember it like it was yesterday.....................
it was being promoted as "What happens when two friends get in the ring together and go to war?"
after 12 blistering rounds of action, it went to the scorecards...............
hasim won decisively and summed up the whole fight with one quote that ill never forget
"I didnt want to hurt him, our children play together."
truly a historic night for the sport

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?
Can any of you remember the fights in 70s by sattelite to the cinamas. It was a great night out it was always packed. You would go out with your mates have a drink get a meal then go watch the fights. It was a terrific atmosphere. I miss them think they should bring them back much more fun, never missed one.

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?
Floyd vs Baldo was like paying $50 to watch a race.
On the other side- Maskaev vs Rahman did not have alot of buzz before the fight, but it was an extremely entertaining bout. Well worth the money. ( and I think every under card ended in a knockout)

Boxing should really think about why it has become a marginal sport....fecking PPV!!!
Boxing would otherwise be as popular as other sports. As simple as.

was wondering if they will try and swing that one as a PPV... i wonder sometimes if ITV fighters are better off, i mean they must be getting some pretty fucking good cash and more people get to watch them - sky are more interested in football and putting money to keep that and gain more matchs i don't think they care about boxing to much, look at the fights they havn't shown in the last 2 yeas, or the ones that we had to wait an extra week to get!

Re: Which PPV's did you regret buying?
agreed they should show a US card every saturday night if poss, not like thr's anything else on at 2am plus, only live cricket. they should even have an hour long world boxing scene round up once a week, they don't even have weekly Ringside any more. ???
