I think Tyson around round 6
tyson in 6 if they fought today
tyson in 1 if they fought while tyson was actually fighting
who cares
Me it something to talk about other than Ricky Hatton or Floyd and Oscar
I'll take Tua
tyson in 1 i highly doubt that tua goes distance with his rock hard chin tyson wins but always a chance of tyson getting disheartened when tua fights back which he will i think out of 10 tyson wins 8 or 9 times but tua could always turn it a round by disheartning tysonQuote:

About even! they both suck!
Your a negative bastard......... you never once enjoyed a fight by either Tua or Tyson?Quote:

wotever tyson you bring to the ring
Tua outlasts him its styles for me
If they fought today? Tua. If both were in their primes? Tyson no prob.
tua has a solid chin and deadly punch, this would be a real punchers fight
i think tua wins
The factor in this fight ( I always go by fighters prime) is Tysons speed...Tua is slower than molasses in the winter...always has been...it would be accumulation that does it....If Tua was quicker with head movement then I would pick him...He hits hard and has one of the best chins I have ever seen

I said today...More of a poke at Tyson and the guy who started the tread who didn't say in their primes.
Tua might make a decent comeback yet..his next fight will give an indication..
Did'nt Tua get knocked cold by Felix Savon
i have to go with maufaufau. That left hook is crazy it doesnt matter if you hold a guard he will punch around it. Tyson was no joke either though. have not seen speed like that from a heavy before. I dont think he could handle the power of tua ultimately this one ends in 8 with a knock out
If you think Prime Tua could be with Prime Tyson...
your on crack.....not even close..

Hard to go against the Tyson of 1989, although Tua being the same style and taking a good punch could be tough. Tyson had more punches to land than Tua but Tua's left hook is better than Mikes just as a single punch. But I pick Mike by 4th round knockout in a grueling fight which might have taken the fight out of Mike. Why Tua is going so slow in his comeback is odd. If he was confident he would be going full throttle, and the fact is his style is good against guys like Klitchko or Maskaev.
Yeah. Tyson before he got rid of everybody and his will to fight was gone. Tua would go to sleep early. Real early.Quote:

Somebody posted my feeling on it..Very similar fighters, who like to close. But Tysons hand and foot speed in his prime were phenomonalQuote:

Tyson
Tua 6th round KO against any Tyson. Tyson will win every round, but as he gets frustrated in his inability to put Tua away he gets sloppy and the Samoan pulls out another fight saving devastating KO.
tyson would ko him real bad
In their primes, Tyson would devastate Tua.
Tua big of a rock but you can tell he wouldn't last long against Mike.
man dunno who would win that fight but dang would be a awesum match up to happen...i thinkkkkk .tyson in his prime simply because he had fantastic speed and elusivness and explosive power in his prime.....tuaman while having a huge heart and rock solid chin just doesnt have the complete package like tyson did....but both lose to lewis easily albeit at least tyson tried to fight against lewis where tua was a disgrace
Now: Tua, but he would be missing his ears and his unborn children would be eaten.
Prime vs Prime: Tyson KO 1 or 2
Prime Tyson vs Prime Tua === Tyson knock Tua in 10 seconds in round 1
Oh come on be realistic im sick of these Tyson fans going over the top Tua has never been stopped and has took very hard punches in his career and has only tasted to canvas once in his career no way would Tyson stop Tua early its not like Tyson was unbeatable he was open for an uppercut as he was coming in and he has struggled with lesser fighters than Tua James Tillis comes to mind.Quote:

I reckon tyson early, But it would be young tyson vs. prime tua.
This was my dream fight segment from my last boxing show that I posted up this week on youtube (p4p boxing). Would have been a great fight. They both were the same Height, weight, fast, Strong. It would be a good fight but this is how I would see it.
In thier Primes:(Tyson 80s vs Tua 90s) Tyson by KO
Tyson would be too fast and too explosive. He would have outworked him with the uppercuts on the inside.
In the Late 90s: Tua by KO
Tua was a beast, I thought he was just to powerful and his hook was a killer. A lot of people claim he is slow but I thought he was pretty fast for a heavy weight. (slow would have been Frank Bruno and Tua is was faster than him.)
And presently: Either way by KO
Tua is obviously the more active fighter and Tyson now looks to not be motivated to fight per his last outings vs Mcbride and Williams. But I believe they are both evenly matched and it would make for an interesting fight.
Good topic. And a fight I would still pay to see becuase Tyson and Tua are both exciting fighters to see and the fact that they are the same height, weight, and strength makes for an interesting night!
