Watching Floyd do the whole show off his physique thing kind of reminded me of the way Vargas was acting before that fight, and we all know how that ended. Floyd is badly outmatched in terms of size, so I don't know why he's talking about offense. When Castillo hit him he curled up and that was 15 to 20 pounds less than what Oscars gonna hit him at. For his sake, he better run and jab, cuz its the only way he'll survive. Plus, you know Roach is gonna have Oscar attacking more, ala Pac Man.

As always, a class act. And Mitchell, Gatti and Baldomir where all at their prime when he fought them. An Old Pernell, Chavez, or Hopkins would have given Floyd hell at any stage of his career. I cant wait for Oscar to shut him up and hopefully end his career the way Barrera ended Naz's

Wow, maybe you've been watching a different Floyd all these years than the one that I have.
I think Floyd comes off as rather well-spoken. Now, it's one thing if you don't agree with the words that actually come out of his mouth, but I don't see where he comes off as stupid.
His style is more of a thinking style as well. He doesn't take unnecesary risks, he's shown the ability to make adjustments within fights.

We have to see how well his speed translates to this weight, Baldomir was slow and Floyd's gone up 14 pounds in a year, so it's yet to be seen. And to answer sweet pea, I don't think he is well spoken or eloquent, he is arrogant and quite condescending. A smart man does not say he is the best ever, and doesn't diminish other's accomplishments, but just lets them stand on their own. Stupid people tend to be loud and abnoxious as well as boisterrous, and he's got all those covered. Floyd is not a smart man, now in the ring, he knows what he's doing. He will need to command the ring for this fight and it will be a good one, until he gets tagged, then it will be over in a heartbeat....too small

I think PBF behind it all is scared sh@tless and his ego is hurting. He has never fought a fighter with a bigger public persona then himself. He was able to steal the spotlight for his entire career so far with all eyes on him and never on his opponent. For the first time when hes speaking people are looking at Oscars reactions and when Oscars speaking people are looking at Oscar.

So you think the way he acts at press conferences is irrational? Wow, you're just getting fooled completely then. This stuff is all staged. That's why they "stage" a multi-city press tour. If Floyd and DLH just got up there and didn't say anything controversial, no one would be paying attention.
Press conferences are all about doing stuff to get the fans riled up and to get them to buy the PPV. This stuff is all done for a specific reason.
Over the years, when you've seen fighters push and shove each other at press conferences, how many of those do you think were the result of genuine dislike for one another, and how many do you think were staged?
