no. I don't even think he was the only hardest hitter at middleweight
I think Nigel Benn, Him, Roy JOnes Jr., and Gerald McClellan
are like comparing
Tyson, Foreman, Shavers, Tua, etc.
I think he's top 5 all time
Herol Graham could argue that one but Nigel Benn was a massive puncher
julian jackson used to knock people out without trying he is one of hardest hitters p4p and i agree with vd i rate him top 5 aswell
eh....there were some really big punchers at lower weight classes.
Arguello comes to mind
Hearns at 147
Pacquiao
Duran
JC Chavez
Tszyu
Mosely at 135
And I'm not even LOOKING for power punchers that's just off the top of my head. I know Jackson could crack but there are deffo some guys on par with him
i think jackson hit harder than all of them his power was freakish it was out of this world ;)Quote:

Tito was a great puncher good point but Jackson was an awesome knock out puncher
Here's a clip of Jackson KTFO Terry Norris

Rvk top clip the first punch had norris out cold the others were for good measure AWESOME! clip

Ice another cracking vid keep them coming
Typical puncher though great ko punch crap chin
He very well could be. I think him, Gerald Mcclellan and Nigel Benn were some of the hardest punchers and most vicious men I've ever seen in the ring.

Who are Graham and Norris given the fact that Roberto Duran was able to go the distance with Marvin Hagler yet Tommy Hearns did this to him???
norris is guy that koed mugabi in 1 when hagler had hard fought war took him 11 rounds to beat mugabi herol graham possibly one of slickest guys to ever lace em up and lost razor thin decision to one of best junior middleweights of all time mike mccallum plus mccallum was dropped in that fightQuote:

And did you see Hearns lift Duran off the canvas with that fucking uppercut????
One of boxings all time best knock outs. That never gets old. That punch doesn't even look like it landed flush.Quote:

oh of course....that bomb he landed on Walcott was just brutal!
could say JJ's right hook was pound for pound the best right hook, i wouldnt argue with that he used it to amazing effect, scary power in there.
.....G-Man rocked him pretty fucking good.....twice
yea but g man had his number but p4p jackson is one of hardest hitters ever and is top 5 in my book you might aswell say barkley rocked hearns twice but it doesnt take away what awesome power hearns hadQuote:

I thought he was a damn good fighter....but as a person I think he's some of the lowest scum on earth
Why?Quote:

Though I do think Jackson punched harder then Hearns....
Your right lyle g man was an animal inside and outside the ring. I rate tommy hearns at @ 140 or 147 as pound for pound the hardest hitterwhat he did to Duran benitez minchillo and others was freaky power.
yea but benitez went distance and lost mdQuote:

It doesn't matter. Nothing to do with what he did in the ring.Quote:

Sounds like the dog did the killings. Not him. Like I said. It doesn't fucking matter.Quote:

He was a fucking thug....a good fighter but a brainless thug
Benn had power but nothing to compare with Hawk.
G-Man had great power to and i think better body strength than jackson , however as a 1 punch ko artist from all the fighters that spring to mid i wud say jackson was the hardest 1 punch ko hitter ive seen
so my answer is yes :)
this one settled or we have more opinions ?
PS. Tommy Hearns is my favorite fighter of all time and his Ko of Duran is my fav KO
Although i think Jackson scored more 1 punch KOS than tommy
I still say Jones is up there... too hurt Toney, and hurt Ruiz with a hook at heavyweight, and his shot against Virgill Hill seal the deal for me in terms of him being able to punch as hard as Jackson. Alot of the time Jones didn't even go for ko's, but when he did his opponents dropped like flies.
