"The Ding a ling man" Darnell Wilson knocks another top Cruiser out!
Wilson knocked out his third straight top cruiserweight fighter, adding Kelvin "Concrete" Davis to his resume which already included Dainel Judah(Zab's brother), and Dale Brown. I was pretty impressed to learn that he had stopped those two, and then he stopped Davis tongiht as well. He looks to be coming into his prime late. He also is probably the biggest fukin Cruiserweight I've ever seen. What did you guys think of him?

Saw the fight but wasn't impressed at all by him....
I don't think he'll be around for much.... Especially if he moves up to Heavyweight...

Cracking fight. Exciting fighter but I'm not big on him as a force in the division.
Not the best footwork, always squared up and got hit with some big punches from Davis. Exciting fighter but he's not on Bell or Mormeck's level imo.

He didnt knockout Daniel Judah. He was losing and Judah threw a shot that miss and Judah's arm popped right out of his socket and Judah grabbed it and start screaming and the ref said Darnell won via tko... ???

Judah got hit with a punch to the shoulder that's how it got hurt not because he missed a punch. It was a TKO...a punch caused the injury.

He didn't look so great early on and went down in the second.
but he seemed to get his groove in the 3rd.
He caught Davis with a left hook and then was patient as he just walked him down and threw a good selection of well placed heavy punches.
Thats what I liked ,all the talk of his one dimensional right hand was dispelled.
He really showed Patience and discipline once his man was hurt and didn't go wild winging all over the place.

I was impressed with the way he finished Davis. He showed fast hands for such a big man. I've seen Wilson fight before and this was by far the best I've seen him look. Also, Thank God someone took that damn pen away from Teddy Atlas tonight.

If Wilson can pump his jab more and be more active early he could do some reckoning in the division......He is one of those genuinly nice guys you want to see do good...He is also one of those guys hat with one or two minor adjustments in his game he would step up to a whole new level...Nothing serious just minor...IMO his knockdown was part flash part off balance....he is a good finisher though...
He did admit before the fight that he was a bundle of nerves because he knew hat it was important fore him to win the fight...I think that may have had something to do with his slow atart...his next fight will be the tell all

it was good to watch. these were two big boys throwing bombs, but a real good technical boxer would show that they are "B" level fighters. but i do like seeing these types of fights. i wish it lasted a little longer but it was a good stoppage.

He reminds me of a mini Foreman, because his punches look soo slow.He seems to be coming on in his last 3 fights, he claimed to have adrenal gland problems...dont ask me...if he stays at cruiserweight he could be a contender.

He had NO jab..
Didn't use it at all..hard to go far in boxing without the first most basic tool!

People give Foreman shit for slow punches but goddamn the man threw fast enough to connect vs most of the people he fought.....even when he was 45 years old!!!
Wilson doesn't have a jab....he did throw a hell of a left hook to start the final barrage though, stunned Davis something bad.

In the case of Foreman I think the power in which he threw his punches made it one of those.....I can see it coming but cant do anything about it type situations......On occasion though he would throw a fast straight right out of no where

yeah that was a good little action packed fight. I like the Crusierweights.. able to deliver a good thud, yet still able to keep a decent pace going .
It's so refreshing, no chasing a guy around the ring for 10 rounds trying to land a shot on his chicken ass. These guys came to fight and to win ! Styles make fights. Castillo - Hatton is going to be a great fight for the same reason, two guys who come to fight and are willing to put it on the line for the full course of the match...
I think matchmakers should put fighters together and fight,,
and runners together . Mayweather -vs- Mag.... would be interesting to see who would finally engage the action . O0

He was pawing the jab the slowest I have ever seen a jab used. CC. He will get KTFO by a real contender (although they are rare) in the heavywieght division.

Just because he ran late in the Baldomir fight, Mayweather can still brawl. He would tear into Malignaggi bad.

I didn't word that wright. I don't think Floyd beats up Paulie worse then Cotto either. He doesn't have the power to...but even with that being said, Malignaggi won't be able to run away from Floyd the way he did Cotto. But still, he doesn't beat him us worse then Cotto.

No shit, Teddy's annoying enough without him being able to draw a circle around one guy and say "that guy, he needs to move forward cause he's the shorter guy." We know who you're talking about Teddy.
The fight was pretty exciting though, Wilson's little half jab annoys me, and Davis seemed like the much better fighter through two rounds but obviously Wilson's got power.

Yeah, I like Teddy, but he talks too damn much too. ;D And Davis lost because he was too condescending to his opponent, left himself open with wide punches, and has a weak chin. I thought he would win the fight myself, but I was wrong.
