I dont read any boxing magazines. People out here in Korea dont even read magazines, let alone boxing magazines. I miss only a few things from England and buying my magazines every month is one! ;)
been getting The Ring for 16 years now - only one I get, doubt I will ever stop getting it
It is The Bible of Boxing and i think in time their belts will hold more prestige than the alphabet title belts
Its just a shame its monthly and so far behind ie a fights two months old by time you read report in Ring
Yeh thats why i dont bother with it.Quote:

The Ring is the best IWO opinion.
Great articles & generally unbiased coverage.
The only boxing magazines I had read is a huge collection of Ring magazines that my uncle collected all throughout the mid 80's. Probably about 20 or so and made me a big Bert Sugar fan. Then last month, I went back to visit friends like I do every weekend and BAM, 7-11 had The Ring when they never did before. Didn't buy it but I'm planning on it 8)
boxing monthly for me
I noticed that the UK version of The Ring has a Hatton cover this month, while the US version has a Peter cover....
I read ring and KO just to get the opinions of the other writers out there...Problem is that the news is outdated because it takes so long to put out...Truth is the internet is the way to go always up to the minute...IMO it will eventually put mags out of business
I hope your wrong about that, Daxx. The internet is wonderful but looking at www.fightnews.com is nothing compared to holding The Ring magazine in your hand. Knowing how long it's been in publication gives me goosebumps each time I get a new issue.Quote:

I hate Ring mag. too out of date, plus it always looks like it was printed in the 80's?!
I sometimes get Boxing News in an emergancy.
But Boxing Monthly is my mag of choice... Its messed up though, more and more shops have stopped selling boxing mags :-\
I like Ring mags style :laugh:Quote:

I ended up reading a Hi-Fi mag or something for the flight.
Got about 25 issues of boxing monthly here ;D
Did exactly the same thing mate! ;DQuote:

I do not read the boxing magazines anymore, but they are all really good to be honest. Except for one called Boxing Illustrated years ago. That was terrible. But I like KO magazine or liked it, and I liked the interview.
I usually tend to read Boxing News simply because it is a weekly rather than a monthly. I like getting the previews of that weekend's fights on a Friday morning, though sometimes it is quite late with the news....it probably goes to press on a Wednesday, or early Thursday.
I still do the traw of the websites too though, just to keep in the loop.
I love the Ring, but I do wish it was printed more frequently
Boxing Monthly supplemented by Boxing News weekly.
I don't like the American boxing mags, as the paper quality is cheap & they're often well out of date by the time us Brits get them.
I used to buy The Ring years ago, but when they switched to low quality paper, I stopped buying.
