my pick is williams by ko Gammer ain't as good as he thinks he is
danny boy is done surely. gammer KO in 6.
Can someone fill me on an Gammer a bit?? If Williams is the favourite to win as is the case with Killers book I doubt Gammer can be too promising..
Apart from 2 wins over Mark Krence and a points win over Julius everybody beats me Francis he has'nt really mixed in good company
Hard one to call, no way of knowing what danny williams will turn up, will he for the first time since his fight with klit actualy turn up in shape and make a go of it, or will he be his usual fuck lazy fucking usless self? one thign thats always pissed me off about williams. I could handle the fact that he gets beat if is was actualy shit boxer, but he isn't he is a pretty decent one, and the way the heavys are right now could of had an outside shot at a title if he kept in shape, but he is so fucking lazy its frustrating, shame hes a real nice guy...
Gunna have to go with my boy gammer tho, looking forward to going there to watch it tho, anyone got alink or know whos on the undercard, or anyone to look out for?
yeah but at least he's been looking good recently whereas danny boy just got battered by audley and he looked in the best shape he has in a while in that fight. and before that he got beat up by matt skelton for 12 rounds and looked fat, slow and shit. i really dunno how much he can have left.Quote:

From what ive seen of him so far I like Gammer and I reckon Danny's lucky to see the final bell. Of course this is the biggest fight Gammers had yet but Dannys taken so many beating recently he cant have much left.
Personally, I reckon Danny's gonna have trouble with Gammer because he likes to walk down opponents and unload with the big shots, but Gammer's jab has some zip behind it, and I reckon that will keep Williams at bay and let Gammer wear him down to a mid to late KO.Quote:

If youre gonna make that bet then better to do it with bet365 at 6/4 - looks to be the best available odds, was better a couple of days ago but seems to be shortening now so might even come closer to evens by fightnight.Quote:

Well you know he's not exactly been on the rabbit food after his exclusive advert for cakes deal with Mr Kipling, but he says he's back in good shape, so if we see him under 18 stone I think that will be a good indicator. Either way, he's going to have a fair weight advantage over Gammer, and a slight height advantage too.Quote:

that was because he had little time to prepare vs audley and lost too much weight to quickly which makes you very weak and drainedQuote:

He ends the report saying that Gammer is underestimating him and he'll be upset but three times in the article Danny himself questions what hes got left and if he can still fight on. Sounds like his heads a bit messed up it and its usually when he loses confidence that he performs badly.
Danny said himself that he had been in good training for 8 week incase either Skelton or Audley pulled out his weight showed that.8 week is good trainingQuote:

Come on man, surely you can sympathise with his predicament, he's beaten Mike Tyson, where's the motivation to get in training to beat a 40-year-old kickboxer, or a 35-year-old with a glass jaw and no composure. To be relegated to the British scene after such a big high point, it's all down to motivation.Quote:

Sympathise with an overweight, inconsistant, lazy bum like Williams?!Quote:

If he could actually maintain a workrate or show some condition, he would be okay. But he fails to bring these things to his fights.
And so of course I have lost interest. He only has himself to blame for the way it has all turned out.
Indeed his problems are all of his own making...but have you seen the results from the weigh in? DW at 16 stone 4 pounds, and Scott Gammer at an even 17 stone. I don't know where Danny's weight has all gone, but I really hope that it's gone from his big punches, but it really changes the perspective of the fight. And IMO, makes it very interesting.Quote:
