tyson,s coming out of retirement
read that mikes making a come back in the summer, starting with minor opposition obviously and hopefully winning a few fights with journey men then going for a easy top ten contender and taking it from there.he made a decent fight of williams untill he twisted his knee then going into the mcbride fight he had know confidence . big george done it so why not mike.he might get at least one of the belts as he said the HW division is very weak and a 50 percent mike MIGHT just have a chance.mike can take a hellav a punch and he can still sort of beable to give one so he may come in at the right time with still them basic assets in his arsenal.

If I was Tyson I would have been fighting bums for the last 5 years (he has but not to many) because he makes millions for fighting nobody's, everybody want's to see him fight. One of his all time greatest comments was " I could sell out Madison Square Garden Masturbating). It's true.

yes your right and with mike going out the way he did to mcbride i think he wont settle untill he has ended his reighn with one last bash.....even one of the easy belts would give him some credability back like the belt briggs owns

cool,cc to you and thanks for the interesting news.....we all know tyson is finished,he couldnt even put away that ponderous irishman mcbride. But i would still pay to watch him fight to see if he can bring back some of that 80's magic, but i doubt it, he would have to kiss rooneys a$$ and take him back if he was to have any sort of chance
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
thing is even a faded tyson is still gonna be the biggest draw in the division. no doubt
-

But has he even got 50 percent left? I doubt anything will come of this.

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
tyson isnt coming back . i would be very suprised if i ever seen tyson fighting professional again . i wish people wouldnt start rumours like this. he is not or never will fight again . just let it go.

just repeating what mag says weather its rumours or not who knows but it says he,s linking up with steve lott who ever he is
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
he needs the money and mikes in det as we know plus he is a money motivated person and to go from riches to rags is hard to swallow so if it comes of he,ll be fighting his heart out...also if he does come back opponents will be carefully selected and guys that are 2 stone heavier and 6 inches bigger will be avoider.it will be like when they started his career there was just stepping stone opponents and then one big blast for a belt and beleave you me the mag sounded quite convincing
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
if he did come back at this stage he will get a couple a million a fight and still draw in at least 10 thousand gates

if hes linking up with steve that means he could be getting back with rooney . which i would love to see . when mike was with rooney he was unstoppable . rooney is the only guy who knows the cus damato style and the only guy who could get mike to move his head and throw combinations . i just dont want my hopes built up i mean how many times has there being talk about mike coming back only to find out that they were just rumours. it really pisses me off when that happens.

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
A fat, washed up has been. Even he admitted the end of his boxing career came with the loss to Buster Douglas. Why does everyone talk about this guy like he's the second coming of Christ? If he had any brains at all he'd try to get his life together and spend the rest of it doing some good like training fighters, commentating, etc., instead of continually acting like a moron. And before anyone comes down on me for this post, I was one of his biggest supporters in his glory days in the 1980's.

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
I really dont think I need to
I will anyway and ill post his response
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
Tyson will not and can not be successful as a boxer again. His style only works for younger fighters, one the speed is gone everything else goes with it...head movement...combinations...skill..etc. He cant get those things back ever.
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
If its true then Tyson would be doing it for money, not desire, and without desire you cant be a boxer for long..

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
c'mon matteoz whats the name of this mag,go get it now and tell me cause i dont beleive you........Tysons in rehab
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
Bottom line; Tyson in this stage of his life is no match for Wladimir Klitchko. In his prime, forget it, he destroys every current heavyweight within 4 rounds, 1st or 2nd round KO, but now, he just doesn't have the desire to train to prevent from being brutalized in under 3 rounds.
-
Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
I don't think he is in the top 100 hw's now.....who could he fight and beat? nobody! Only TOTALLY worthless chinless bums! ......like the klitschkos

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
you know. I like Mike and think if he gets his stamina up and fights guys who weight 235 and under to make it far more Mike he can still win alot of fights. Mike has good power. But he still will get into trouble somehow in the ring. Mike still has the goods I think. When you have power like that he can go a long way. I just think his downfall was always how sensitive he was. He is a very sensitive man who is affected by everything. A guy like Holyfield is more controlled and can take more mentally. In a way Mike is a guy I would rather be a friend to. I have heard Mike is nice to people who want autographs and Holyfield is a Pr**k

i told every1 that i read the artical in a mag at my local sports centre.the artical was on about him making a new british tour and how he has made renewed aquantances with steve lott, there talking about putting him through a few easy fights and the maybe going for one of the easyest belts, this is to get him out of his financial troubles and hey you guys know if he makes a comeback he wont go chasing 18 stone hulks, they,ll pick him easy fights and get him a couple of wins.it says that the last thing a fighter looses is his power .....speed and movement yes but like i said im going to the sports centre today were ill get the mag it was in and tell yous the name of it....it was just something like allsports latest news but not sure ill get it dug out today but im only saying what i read im not saying mike told me personaly and all yous coming on saying its bullshit coz youd love it to be true and some think there knoledge is far superia than others so there like why havnt i read this,it might be bull but its what i read...maybe there just throughing this in the pan and seeing what the public reaction will be like....mikes only in rehab coz he has to be to save himself from jail just for dabbling with a bit coke...WHAW....look at holyfield hes alledgly taking a worse drug in steroids

If he would come back at the age of 21 he could save the sport !
Anybody got a time machine? :-[

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
I sincerely hope he does not return.
He hasn't beaten a decent opponent since 1991 & even he (Ruddock) was one dimensional & overrated.
Tyson has neither the heart nor the stamina for boxing & he should find other ways to earn money, or he is going to be seriously hurt.

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
Even though Mike is 94 1/2 years old, if he showed up in the ring at 220 ripped pounds, looking down before the fight like he used to, I'd pick him to take Same Peter, Either Klit, and any other HW out there. Line these bums up.

Re: tyson,s coming out of retirement
Now wether anyone believes me or not, I talk to Steve Lott and after a request from gemini i emailed him to ask of this renewed partnership and also a boxing event involving himself and Kevin rooney who he still works alongside
This is his response
"Ross,
Thanks for the e-mail.
I have had no contact with Mike at all.
Regarding the training - I am very busy pitching our Boxing Hall of Fame project to the various casinos so I would not have any time to attend Kevin's training session. But If you have him you do not need me.
Steve"
Now you can question the authenticity of this or you could visit tysontalk and see how Steve gave a q&a that I set up, a very informative q&a and tyson fans dream, also steve has sent me unseen footage recorded by himself of Mike sparring dozens of rounds in preparation for the Tubbs fight and he has sent me the Tillis exhibition fight.
Steve is a very genorous and likable man
Even if he had spoken to Mike and wanted to keep it quet from me and everyone else, he wouldnt offer Mike any sort of fighting contract while he knows Mike needs rehab

R U REAL OR WHAT????????????????????
Tyson lost to McBride for fuck sake, who was not even in the top 10 and would not have made the top 20 if he had been boxing 10 years ago.
