Which fight screamed knockout before it even materialized?
Even though I wasn't yet born, I'm pretty sure I would have known Frazier-Foreman wasn't going to go the distance.
nigel benn vs gerald is another good one but on list id go for jackson vs gerald
what about john mugabi vs gerald mc john mugabi had 38 wins 38 kos gerald had 22 wins 20 kos talk about a knockout fest ;)
Mcclellan vs Jackson P4P IMO... thats the first fight that popped into my mind when I saw the thread title... there was no way either of those was going the distance
Yeah you got my vote thereQuote:

I also remember Tyson saying that "Razor Ruddock hits like a mule kick", a pretty good compliment from a scary KO puncher himself.
As a close second, I would've voted McClellan-Jackson.
P4P, Hagler-Hearns
Norris vs. Jackson
Jackson v G-man by a mile P4P. Both had ridiculous power and incredible technique. Benn v Barkley also deserves a very honourable mention. Maybe the best 1 rounder of all time?
Oooppps!Quote:

Not on the poll, but How about Ike vs Tua
Foreman-Frazier.....Foreman-Lyle
Louis-Marciano
Shavers-Lyle
was so one sided it couldn't be called one of the best imoQuote:

Also, Moore - Marciano. Except Moore's power didn't carry to well to heavyweight.
Lewis-Tyson
Lewis-Morrison
Foreman-Cooney
Was just thinking SHavers - Foreman ,then realized this never happened.. wonder why
enlighten us poom ;)Quote:

P4P Benn is one of the hardest ever punchers...
Hearns-Duran
Hearns-Barkley

Benn was an awesome puncher he's one of my all time favourite fighters mainly based on raw punching power and entertainment factor i used to love it when he got hurt or shook up badly because he would punch even harder thenQuote:

Hearns vs Cuevas was another one
Other than the mentioned choice, I would say that SMoking Joe vs Ali or vs Foreman was the real deal in term of raw power on the ring.
Wilfredo Gomez-Carlos Zarate has to be #1 on this list.
Mclellan/Jackson IMO
They had some of the most beautiful/Brutal KOs in boxing.
Lyle vs Shaverswas pretty good. :foruml10gc5:
Jaime Garza vs.Juan Meza had KO percentages from hades :shinner:...Oliveras vs. Little red lopez
Gomez Vs Zarate
Hagler Vs Mugabi
Castillo Vs Corrales
Freitas Vs Barrios
It was not one sided JJ was beating the G Man until a clash of heads which turned the fight around. Also I think the punches G Man took contributed to the effects from the Benn fight. I distinctly remember him saying he had a massive headache at the post fight interview and wanted to sleep for a week. Brutal one punch power from both.
