just wondering if anyone else has this problem? im 6 ft -215lbs and when i run not all the time but sometimes when i sweat profusely i get a terrible rash in my groin and sometimes on the inside of my a$$ cheeks ;D.....its like a pimple-sweat rash and sometimes it gets so fukin painful i cant run...
......i know theres nothing i can do about it cause im of big build and will always have big legs that rub together when i run.....i just wanted to know if anyone else has experianced this :)
what you wanta do , is hit that bad boy with some baby power !

i gave you cc for the reply but already tried powder and it does help but sometimes it so bad powder dont work......you sound like you talk from experience?.....do you go through a lot of baby powder ;DQuote:

I had this problem when i first started running, then it went away... dunno if the skin got used to it or what.
What do you run in? never had it since I started wearing shorts all the time.
Just make sure your pants and boxers are loose. :o ;)
mate i used to get this prob to but like adam says shorts sorted that out. they let a bit of air get to your weapon area so i wear shorts all the time now. i used to get nipple rash aswell but it was just the logo on a shirt i used to train in :-)

Yep vassolene is a good one. This is a common problem for a lot of distance runners regardless of their build so I wouldn't worry too much. Don't ever put sweaty workout clothes back on for a 2nd workout though coz that will exacerbate the problem. If you have any specialty running stores nearby they usually sell a product which is very similar to vasolene specifically for this.
Women might get a similar thing in other areas where the sports bra rubs so i can kinda relate  :)
One unisex trouble area can also be just under the arm pits if you are wearing a shirt with a seam there so check your clothing choice in case you have particularly nasty rash makers!
Are you really sure this problem in your crotchal area is do to running? Or did you hook up with a burner? lol :o
Vaseline works pretty well, but sweat sometimes washes it away and it could get a little messy sometimes. I used to be a marathon runner and I work at a specialty running store, so I know what probmlems you're talking about. If you can, go to a sports store, and if you can, a running store in your area, and buy something called "body glide". It works miracles. It'll stop chaffing and if you want, you can use it on your feet to prevent blisters. Put it between your legs and under your arms. But anyways, look that up, its the best for that problem
