Forum members visiting gyms for the site....

OK Scrap who is well connected with alot of gyms in the UK came up with this idea and has approched a few gyms which are well up for it...

but i think as we have a massive world wide membership we could do somthing that aint being done anywere on the net and that is if any of you as members want to go visiting gyms in your area to interview the fighters trainer and help promote the gym under the Saddo banner let me know what area your in.

you can do one of many things interview the fighters and trainer take photos the news editor of the site can make your piece publishable for the front page so dont worry if your grammer and spelling aint all the good ;) or even better take a camcorder and get some footage of the fighters training, interviews with the trainers and fighter or better still sparring footage this would be great to have training and sparring vidoe footage on the front page from gyms world wide... uk, usa australia etc as im also working on a site video section that will be viewable to the public and want to fill it with exclusive stuff like this and press confrences, weigh-ins etc as an archive to the reports so this dosnt just have to stop at gyms.

anyone intrested in doing this let me know and what area your in as i think it would be awsome ;)

WOW quick response and a good start will leave this up and i'll contact anyone whos intrested with more details when its full also just add if you have a camcorder also...

Good idea, Ive been thinking of doing something like this for ages but never got tround to it. I can take care of Bristol Boxing gym, Glen Catley and Lee Haskins train there. We also have Spaniorum Farm out in the sticks, I think Jane Couch still trains there. I can get a camcorder sorted and take some pics.

What about amateur gyms? They would be gratefull for a boost I would imagine?

yeah mate good call ;)

Saddo is connected to put it mildly ;),far reaching tentacles in the fight world, so there really is some brilliant opportunities for whoever goes for it.
Seen (ringside),Interviewed and socialised with the UK's finest fighters in the last 18 months alone and it's a surreal experience to begin with...(I interviewed Amir Khan on my 2nd outing for the site and have seen some belting fights at ringside also) so if you got the confidence then grab these opportunities with both hands 8)

I live in the Bay Area, we've got a lot of gyms here and a few famous ones like the King's Gym in Oakland and 4th Street gym in San Francisco. A family friend of mine lives right down the street from King's so that would be easy. Also got a few local gyms with no one of real note but that would be very interesting.

u know i can cover anything in wales if u need - should have the enzo interview done in the next week or so to.

I would be up for video and pictures, interviews.

I live in Southern California. Don't know where all the gyms are exactly, but I live about 30 minutes from Big Bear. Every big name trains there. If the info was provided to me I would gladly follow up and get some good training camp interviews.

And if you twisted my arm a little I would sit ringside at some fights. ;) ;)
