So basically were gonna see Mosley fight Mayweather, Cotto or Juda come Christmas?
Fwoken Sweet as mate! 8)
i've been saying for years that i reckon mosley would beat floyd. he can match him for speed, hits harder and has bigger balls so would be willing to fight him aswell as box him.
that would be a fantastic fight though. 2007 is an awesome year for boxing.

As quick as Mosley has 'returned' from the drudges of boxing he would spiral back after a match-up with Mayweather. PBF is a defender on par with Winky Wright and you can clearly see the frustration in the middle rounds and how Mosley gives up with his body language in both losses to Wright.
Zab Judah was faster than Mayweather too. Where did that lead him? Mosley is frustratable if he can't get an expected result. I saw PBF in person weighing around 150 and he looks very natural there. Mayweather will remind Mosley how old he really is.
Let's see how Floyd is farting after the Delahoya fight. After he comes to his senses I'd like to see a fluid Shane Mosely put Mayweather on the ropes.
I agree about the body language used by Mosley liquid
HOWEVER
Forrest and Wright were tall fighters fighting behind their 1-2 combinations and they were both bigger than Shane as well.
Now I like Shane and his speed is good his power is good but he can be easy to hit sometimes too. Shame Tito Trinidad ain't around to fight him.
SSM w/ Tito wouldv'e been a good fight. I think Mosely is at his best weight, he's comfortable he can now let his combinations loose.
Honestly since styles make fights I'd like to see Shane Mosely fight Kassim Ouma.
yeah shane had a chance to fight PBF before but shane didn't want the fight for whatever reason. i like PBF against PBF. i like shane against Zab and cotto.
But by the same token PBF's defense is better than Forrest and on par with Wright's. Winky is only an inch and a half taller than Mosley and PBF is at least 5'8", perhaps closer to 5'9" than you'd think. PBF definitely can't KO Mosley; his chin comes with a solid resume, but Mosley will wilt once he realizes everything he has can't add up to a victory over PBF.Quote:

Assuming Floyd beats Oscar, I make him a solid favorite to beat Shane.
Shane is fast, but not as fast as Floyd, and Floyd is much much more versatile.

It's terrible, and to make things worst Winky had to closed the deal on both of them. A shame really they're both good fighters, Winky's style is enough to make anybody look bad.
Floyd beats Shane for me. And I am not sure if the fight happens. I just want to see PBF and Oscar now!!!!!
I agree with the Cotto part...but I'd like Mosley to fight either Hatton/Cotto/Williams,etc..b4 seeing him take on PBF.I just wasnt convinced that after one good fight he is at that level againQuote:

i swear PBF only said he would retire to force oscar to hurry up and decide if he would fight him.
Um Mosley right now can't match PBF's speed at all.Quote:

Back in 99 the fight would have been awesome. I favor Mosley in a UD but it would have been close.Quote:

I'd love to see Mosley - Mayweather, but I dunno if it will happen. To put it bluntly, i think Sugar Shane is the biggest threat out there too Floyd's undefeated record, he's the only guy out there slick enough and experienced enough to beat Mayweather at his own game. But I can just see Floyd fighting Cotto or Hatton instead, which present a much lesser risk to him and would probably be just as big fights. Risk-reward, Roy Jones made his whole career on it.
It's funny everyone is saying Mayweather's punches are just tip taps, yet before he injured his hand Baldomir along with everyone else have not been able to simply walk through his punches as Hagler did to Leonard. PBF still has the power to keep Mosley honest. I know Mosley has more power, but he does not have the speed he had in his prime. His first fight with ODLH I would say he was as fast or faster than PBF now, but even that doesn't change how I feel the fight would have turned out because Mayweather is a better fighter. But like Sovereign said Mosley is the biggest threat to Mayweather right now barring Wright being able to get back down to 154. Mosley though not as fast as Mayweather has more speed than any other guy who has a shot at Mayweather, and he has the power, and skills to make it a tough fight. I think Mosley is however to open defensively, and will lose.Quote:

Mosley needs one of those names to get PBF's attention.PBF gaines nothing by fighting Mosley.Mosley just doesnt hop back on the radar with ONE decent fight.Sure the "Fourm" fans wanna see a mosley vs mayweather fight...but unless mosley comes up with a big win over a known opponent,it'll never happen.Quote:

Can you list the victories that Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, or Williams have on their resumes that are better than Mosley's?
I dont see how its even up for debate.Floyd said that after the DLH fight he wants to go over to england and fight Hatton.Mosley is still a big name to cotto, margo and all of the other welters but Floyd gave him a chance on 3 seperate occasions.Keep waiting for a mosley vs floyd fight...b/c it will never happen.
