Froch - Power ;D
The thing about Froch is that nobody seems to like him, so they always look for the bad in the man and they just can't face the fact that he is sheer world class! I really think he is the number 3 man at 168 and he should really be pushing forward and i think in the next 2-3 fights it should be against Kessler. He deserves it and the way he is stopping his men i could really see him stopping Kessler, we will have to see and i really think it would be a good match up.
Kesslers a good tight fighter so i think it would go past 9 but Froch imo has the power to spark his lights out ;)
And what if Kessler has the power to put his out?? His superb defence would prevent that? ::** Wait till he fights somebody worth a damn.Quote:

Love to see the fight.
Kessler is a level above Froch in nearly every aspect and that includes opposition faced, skills, ring generalship etc. Froch has an awful defence too. JC would beat up on Froch and Kessler would beat him up too. If the winner is guaranteed a shot at JC,it would be an awesome fight to make!
The only fight I really badly want to see at this weight is JC v Kessler!! And if Lacy came back,Lacy v Andrade would be awesome!
:coolclick: Gamo....your right about everthing your saying here, including what fights they HAVE to make happen.Quote:

Yea I agree... I don't see how some people have such high hopes for Froch when his defence is so terrible, he's the kind of fighter that could find even a small step up in opposition a bit too much.. Not to mention if he's put right in there with a top guy without having any experience that will prepare him for it.. I don't know, I mean he's certainly an exciting fighter to watch, could potentially be in some great fights.. But against Calzaghe or Kessler I couldn't see it. Anytime I watch him I just think dear god his defence is terrible. He's not Nas, Whittaker, or Roy Jones.. He doesn't have the reflexes to fight the way he does imo, a good boxer who won't chase after him and fall for his little "traps" will beat him. He better have one HELL of a chin if he plans on stepping it up, that's all I can say.Quote:

For me the fight that NEEDS to happen is Kess vs. Joe...... 8)
I would think Kessler is perfect match for Froch, he has that stiff jab, and Froch with his left low all the time.Would be a good one.
This might happen folks !
Froch will either pick up a big cheque against a contender-famous Robin Reid.. or will fight a final-eliminator for a shot at the WBC crown, as Bute is heading in the IBF direction.
I can see that Kessler left hand, outstretched in a jab around round 8...when a vicious uppercut is rattled in by Froch ;)
Kessler is half english & Froch has fought in Copenaghen before - it would be easy to make. No politics to prevent it.
Kessler destroys "The next Ryan Rhodes" Carl Froch in 2 rounds.
Thats the kiss of death put on Kessler right there.
How about sig and aviator bet?Quote:

I say Kessler stops him. Doesn't matter the round. You say otherwise. Bet. Yes or no?Quote:

A bet it is but I beg you. If you win (you wont) dont make me have that nursary rhyme you have as my sig.
I like a good bet ;D
What will be the penalty to the loser?
Honestly I've come around a bit to liking Carl. He's an exciting fighter. Froch just doesn't have any defense. He keeps his hands at his knees and sometimes he just stands in one place for seconds at a time, not doing anything. And then his jab he overextends with putting everything on his front foot and then brings it back to his leg. He keeps the left shoulder low and He's really just a dream for any quick puncher. I think Kessler would just have a field day with Froch and probably end his night fairly quickly. He practically begs for a right hand to come over top of his low hands and shoulders.
That being said he has one hell of an equalizer with that power of his. And he'll never go away because he will always have the potential to go on a KO streak but I just don't think he's world class. I'd love to see what a Lacy left hook does to Froch coming inside with his hands low like that.
It helps me sleep at night. Nah man I got something else in mind for you. If this fight ever comes off.Quote:

Kessler stops Froch he has'nt had his chin tested properly yet and Kessler has some heavy hands it would go past 6 rounds but not much i can see Kessler stopping him on the ropes round8 i don't believe Froch is a world beater yet
Begs the question, how can you (others have said it too) be sure that Kessler stops him then?Quote:

Sure he took Beyer out but he was there for the taking wasn't he? Im not saying Kessler is a powerpuff puncher but gut instinct says that anyone who beats Froch is going to have to do it over the distance.
I think we will see Froch in a world title fight late this year/early next year.
It would have to be against Calzaghe or Kessler though for everybody to take notice if he wonQuote:

I was there and the atmosphere of the MEN got to him bigtime (watch a replay ;)) 02.30am in Manchester = A Boistross Atmosphere to say the least then Calzaghe comes out to "Spitfire" and Lacy looks terrified ;D
Seen it happen so many times to fighters and Lacy was overcome.
Froch on the other hand is the dangerman at s middle no question and the one dishing it out fight after fight now and looks calm, controlled and vicious...agree and always have that he struts about like a primate with the lowest hands in the division and will no doubt cop an unfortunate one sooner or later but that just makes him better to watch imo and he's livening the Supermiddles because of it.
Someone said earlier that it's a 'Hell of an equalizer' having his 'upperhook' ;D
Hamed like anyone?
He trained for longer than normal apparantley and i think it's showing to good effect.
Kessler is technically superb, throws rapid combos with a great jab but i but don't see him troubling Froch or Joe beardwise really and Calzaghe 100% beats him imo.
One thing i hope is they (promoters) give us these fights,im pretty confident theres some wicked fights coming our way in this division.
Don't agree with you much but I agree 100% here. CC.Quote:

It's quite possible a Kessler-Froch fight would go the distance.Quote:

Kessler both has the tools to avoid getting caught by anything serious (as seen in numerous fights) + the chin to withstand heavy blows when needed (as seen a few times against Andrade)
I think and i'm speculating here... that as Tatevoyan took Bute 12 rounds..and Froch only 2, combined with the fact Bute is going for IBF's Berrio, that we'll have Froch put in place as No1 contender.
We could possibly be looking at potentially 2 world belt holders in the UK - how massive would that make Calzage V Froch ? jeez
