In Jin Chi vs. Larios (discussion & Who's televising the fight)

I saw that this fight is taking place at featherweight for the WBC title. It seems like a good fight imo, and its a real chance for Larios to get back a world title. what do you all think on this one ?

good match-up. i expect to see plenty of action from both guys. larios by close decision.

Thats probably as even of a match as one could be....
Both guys have been through some tremendous wars and have began to show signs of wear and tear of the sport....
Should be a good scrap, I think I would slightly favor Larios in this fight.....

Thanks for the information CC, I did not know this fight was happening but it will be a great fight. Should be a war. I will go by Chi by Late KO, i think Larios is gone and that the Pacquiao fight will be his last big fight.

CC back. i thought this topic needed to be adressed cos both men are exciting fighters. I really do think Larios will edge it though hes a good fighter and i really think he will be too much for Chi. will be a case of who wants it more i think.

Larios by UD. Great fight though.

If Injin Chi is right in the head he stops Larios he hits to hard and often and OL has had a long career i think any fighter apart from the big 3 going toe to toe with Chi is like playing Russian Roulette.

Larios not a typical Meican fighter and as brave as they come has slowed down and losing helps careers finish and he's had a few recently .

Injin is one tough mofo! but Oscar's heart will carry him to a tough UD win.

whats good? Does anyone know the long over due In Jin Chi vs Larios fight be televised in may? i hear its supposed to take place in anahiem? possibly the arrowhead pond aka honda center?

hopefully HBO will atleast make this a BAD, but In Jin Chi does own a belt?????? so it would be mad props if they made it a WCB???

i still feel In Jin got cheated of his first HBO date because of his untimely ankle injury. sucks man.

I think this is going to be an exciting bout. Larios is confident after his 10 round win. In Jin Chi needs the exposure. I hear he is dangerous. Now we will be able to see if the hype about this korean fighter is true or not.

You know I find this a little strange I mean nothings been OFFICIALLY confirmed.
Then it was then Team Guzman said the fight hadn't been made.
I then checked Box Rec one day and they had 2 cards on that same day 5/25/07 one at the Staples Center and the other at the Honda Center.
For the Staples Center they had Jorge Linares vs. 'Some guy' and on the Honda Center they had the Chi vs. Larios.
About 3 days later I check again and they dropped the Staples Card (according to BoxRec) and added Guzman vs. Katsidis & the Jorge Linares fight..
I've checked EVERYDAY on ticketmaster and the Honda Center for the event but neither place has the event listed for that day they show some 'Ice Skating show'

If it the card pulld through it'll be great as Katsidis if one of my fav. up and coming fighters and to be there for his 1st title shot! would be great. Plus! Chi - Larios is surely to be a can't miss fight.
So heres hoping the card pull through and I'll be there.

I would go for Larios. He is the hungrier fighter. If he performs just like his fight with the Pacman, definitely he will win either by UD or late stoppage.
