Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I say the only man at 168 who gives him bother is Calzaghe.
IMO he goes straight through Kessler (Come on Kess lovers, who has he actually fought to be regarded so highly...that may even go for Joe too) and the rest and is clearly the dangerman of the division.
I know a good few members who are now starting to sit up and admire this guy's abitlity.

Smash come on be real mate he isn't going to go right through Kessler i think Froch is good talent but not quite talent some people are trying to make him out to be

Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
Don't agree (Who's Kessler beat of any substance at all?) No One imo ;)
Froch is Ko'ing people left right and centre and no way Kessler could keep him off for too long as Froch cuts the ring down so well.
He'd catch him at some stage 100% and Kessler won't have the chin to take what he dishes out.
I've seen enough of him now to firmly believe this and of course some of you won't agree.
Don't believe the hype some people on here give Kessler mate as he's largley untested ;)
Just my opinion ;D

But ICB i dont understand why you think hes not a real deal? Did you see him stop that Russian last friday? You cant say that wasnt something spectacular? He beat him a lot more impressive than Bute did, and that Russian had been in the ring with some good fighters and CF made him look SHITE! CF is stopping people and doing it in stlye as well, i just think he really does have a chance on taking on a title holder at 168 and being a champion and doing it by stoppage. The longer JC leaves a fight with him the more i favour CF to win IMO.

Totally agree and Andrade "The Concrete Mummy" made Kessler look good,Froch is the one doing it for me and doing it KO style.
Does Kessler even wanna know ;)
ICB i agree about Froch (so far) but you can't say he hasn't impressed with his power ;D

Right i think he is pretty decent Smash never said he hasn't what im trying to say is before you start saying he is going to beat Kessler ect id wait first and see how he does against top 5 or top 10 smw.

Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I think he can KO anyone in the division bar Calzaghe (great Chin) ;)
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
Well if he gets that fight against Bute i really think he will show Kessler and JC they have somebody who is a REAL! challeneger. I think he can stop Bute and i think Kessler IMO should fight carl for a few reasons. He will show JC that he has taken down a top 3 168'a. It will show JC that he needs to brush up the 168 weight class and FUCK ME IT WOULD BE A GOOD FIGHT ;D. But i think Carl needs to step up the gas and really press a fight with Kessler soon because i think that would be the only chance he could get at a fight with JC.

Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
Dennis Inkin is his next Victim and he'll ruin him 8)
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
If Veit can hold Inkin to a draw at the mid stages i fancie CF stopping him with 2-5 round margin .
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I said it at the time and I'll say it again. If Froch had true world class power he would have had Magee out of there in no more than four rounds. If he had a bit more about him Jerry Elliot would have wiped Magee out in a round, if Robin Reid gave a fuck he would have had him out in a few.
Froch can hit, but he's no great destroyer, he may find that out to his cost in with the big boys ;)
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I think he's getting stronger mate to be honest (Serg has never been stopped and Froch trained for 8 solid weeks which is a first for him thus far and it really showed as he got down to business from the off)
Time will tell but im hanging myself out on this chap to win a World title ;D I don't see any other Supermiddle hitting remotely that hard and from where i was sitting (magee) he toyed with him and seemed to enjoy the fact he could take him when he wanted.
He dropped him early don't forget!

You say that but wasn't Brian Magee giving Froch all he could handle aswell this was judges scores
Judge: Ian John Lewis 95-94 | Judge: Terry O'Connor 96-95 | Judge: Paul Thomas 97-92

Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
He wasn't even putting a dent in him mate ;)Froch was busy chatting to Jim Watt and knew he could take him anytime.
I think he enjoyed that because Magee did bad mouth him and i think Froch "Toyed then Destroyed" him 8)
I think that's quiet catchy actually ;D ;D ;D

Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
And i'll say it again Smash and Tam anyone could look like next Sugar Ray Leonard beating no names and average opponents wait and till he faces real name then say he is top 3 and ect and i personally don't think he is top 3 i think Mundine is higher than him just wait until he faces Inkin who is decent name we will say how good he is then.
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
He'll knock Inkin out mate no doubt in my mind,Mundine would be a good fight though. ;)
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
Have you noticed that every time opens his mouth that he proves the point he has made? I've noticed that and I truelly do believe what he is saying, the Inkin fight will show us what he is capable of against a top 10 168a'. I look forward to the early stoppage ;D
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
His arrogance (i call it self belief) is quality but like you say he always backs it up.....
Right.... I just need to get Memphis off the fence now ;D ;D ;D
Hop down old son,you know you wanna ;D
hahahaha
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I'll poke him off the fence if i have to ;D

Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
When he fought against inkin his corner team told young Froch to jab and move, jab and move - and inkin was catching him and scoring.
In the last round he knew he was down on the scorecards - so went out there, doing things his way - and bang, Inkin was all over the shop - the bell basically saved him.
Carl was young at the time and following orders, keeping the managers happy.
He was supposed to be on the Hopkins - Eastman undercard too, in an 8 rounder - and they lined up Andrade as the opponent - but in the end they plumped for someone a bit more experienced AKA Henry Porras - and Carl flattened him.
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I didnt like how Froch went about the Porras fight, didnt look like McCracken was enjoying it too much either ;D
He got there i the end though which is all that counts. Like I said before though I'd prefer to see him mean business from the off, maybe he will now that he's on the brink.

kessler would beat him worse than joe would right now.
1 kessler (respect him so much for this) shows up to every fight no matter who they are at top form; 2 joe wont take him seriously enoug; IMO joe beats him so fucking easily, his stance joe being a lefty would make froch look like crap - but at 25/36 if they fight froch would look remotly competetive but joe wins by 20 or so rounds - kessler stops him, froch has fought NO ONE of worth - kessler would stop him with ease right now.
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I can't believe this guy is getting so much hype just because he beat a guy who went the distance with Bute. ::** ::** ::** JC would teach him a lesson as would Kessler. I personally was not too hot on Kessler but dam that guy is a real good package!
What is Froch going to do if his power is not having an effect? Or when he fights someone who can take advantage of his non existent defence?
-
Re: Carl Froch fully focused on World title belt
I beg to differ ;)
Froch irons kessler out ;)
