I cant believe they are not showing this fight, they better show this fight....Is this a HBO free one or a pay-per-view?
Can't see it being that exciting really. Forrest doesn't have it anymore, Baldomir was always just solid nothing more..
Its a crossroads fight for both, but they are in the top ten...not sure about Forrest lately. They are both solid fighters and a good matchup of style contrasts. You think Forrest is gonna walk all over Baldomir?
:o wow surprising match up but........ who's gonna watch that? I mean, I'll watch any fight but not many will, no point putting it on TV unless its local or national and a lame channel.
Honestly...Baldo earned a new fan in me...he kicked the shit outta both Judah & Gatti...what can I say...I'm sold. Hopefully...he'll kick the shit outta Forrest. ;D
Well no one can resist a cinderella story, especially a fruitcake like you wacko :-*Quote:

Baldomir is good for the sport, and still has a future. Even though he is 35 he seems fresh enough and he would do well against alot of fighters. THe fight against Forrest should be good.
Shit!!!
In all honesty this is a coin toss for me, I really can't call it.....
If in 2002 you told me I would find myself in this situation fliping a coin deciding if Forrest could beat and Argentian fighter nicknamed 'Grandpa' I would have told you your fwocken crazy!!!
i dunno.. havent seen forest in a while after he was awarded the win against quartey and baldo is stil baldo even his fight with mayweather.. he gave it his all.. its just that he cant catch mayweather even if he had to lasso his a$$
Not much to get excited about, I'd watch it but don't really care about either fighter. Both very boring fighters to me, just my opinion.
I agree it wont be that exciting but I disagree that Baldy outworks him .Quote:

He doesnt inject enough pace when he should and is slow to close the distance . His one paced style should suit Vernon , plus he lacks punch authority
Vernons ramrod jab in his face will be a big problem for him and he'll be surprisd by his power . For Baldy to get into this fight he has to stay on top of him and make it physical but we said the same things against Floyd and Baldy was hopelessly out of his league . Forrest UD
Maybe so, but there is a monumental differnce between Forrest at this stage and Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think Baldomir can cut the ring off on Forrest and get some work done. Forrest seems kind of lazy in there lately, he certaiinly seemed that way against Quartey anyway. I hope that somehow the Vargas vs. Mayorga fight is still taking place, though last I heard it wasn't, so as the winners from both fights can fight each other, that could be interesting. Forrest vs. Mayorga III anyone?Quote:

bro ure comparing vernon a guy who beat shane mosley twice and ure saying its 50-50 with him and baldimor. Bro he will beat him either 12 rounds to 1 or KO him in the middle rounds.Quote:

I don't like Baldomir, or Forrest all that much, but it is a pick em fight the way I see it. Baldomir has been fighting the better competition lately and still seems to have some left in the tank. Forrest has not looked like himself since being knocked out by my boy Mayorga, and then losing the second fight to him by close decision.Quote:

Im actually kind of geeked for this fight
Thoughts?
Topic Merged.
Here you go Tariner Munky here are some thoughts on the fight. :)

Did somebody pull out,or does HBO not plan to air that fight?
more then likely it won't make it to the televised portion of the show since the Co-Main Event to Taylor-Spinks isQuote:

Guess who signed with DiBella Strangle hold on HB-.....er I mean Entertainment in November
Camacho Jr. is a disgrace to his pops.
I mean I ain't no 'Macho' Camacho fan but the man fought some of the best fighters around.
You know which Jr. has started to make some noise is Pipino Cuevas Jr.
Yeah! that happened a while back....Quote:

Baldomir by split decision
Forest has lost too much. I think Baldomir would frustrate him with his constant attack...
