Heres a story all true, think it was 89. The I O S came to the gym testing reflexus I had 7 pros at the time all did the test one guy stood out, in fact he had the best results ever tested 6,ooo of a second. They tested him again the next day with the same results, they were really excited. I was amazed to because he was the slowest in the gym. Funnily enougth he wanted it more than anybody else was a hard worker but got excited qiuckly, things are never that simple when talking Boxing matters its a funny old game.

Hamed had great reflexes as does mayweather, nicolino locche had great reflexes, willie pep, and Roy Jones Jr, and whitaker

Agreed with Angel, reflexes don't have to be just about defense. Naz had some sick offensive reflexes, not to mention some good defense ones as well.

I think that what scrap said is really interesting. I would like to know the determining factors that make someone's reflexes fast and what makes someone's punches ect... quick. What I mean is if someone's reflexes are very fast, does that not help in finding openings and counter punching in boxing? To me it would seem so but I know this isn't neccessarily true. What gives?
