HBO's boxing after dark presents a june 16th card. Paulie malignaggi vs N'Dou for the IBF Belt and forrest baldmoir fight

Thats what paulie needs right now to further his career..Take a title to make his name more attractive to the bigger names at 140.. I say he beats torres, Ndou and witter without a doubt personally :)

Update !!

So basically hbo have finally put Malignaggi - Ndou up on the site making the fight official..

Its a boxing after dark event
Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, CT
12 Rd. Junior Welterweight Championship

Turns out it probably wont be on the card of a suspected baldomir - forrest fight as the fight must not have been finalised..

CC for the news, forgot this was supposed to happen.. I think Paulie is matched up very evenly with all 3 of those you mention.. He could win or lose against any one of them imo.. Can't say I'd even favour him, all pick ems for me..

Honestly..Its plain to see why paulie talked so much smack leading up to the cotto bout..

He was scared of cotto .. So he hid it with smack...Paulie had only fought nobody's and young prospect and though both were undefeated he'd seen more of miguel then miguel had seen of him..

Hes a humble guy really.. but i pick paulie to outbox most light welterweights out there right now..
And hopefully this work with buddy mcgirt can improve on his power cos thats the one big thing deterring most fans is all..

I don't think Malignaggi was scared of Cotto..

He will have to outbox N'dou for the 12 rounds because he won't knock him out that is for sure.

i think its good for both fighters and hbo
i think malignaggi in a decision

so he can get some crictics off his back

Malgnaggi is a tough kid and a good boxer, but he has almost no power and he doesn't really like to fight.. Yeah, he hung in there against Cotto and boxed pretty well some rounds.. But really, so did N'dou... I think stylistically this is quite a tough fight for Malignagi, N'dou is a very durable, relentless fighter who goes to the body quite well... It all depends on who enters the fight better prepared witha gameplan, imo.... No reason why Paulie should be a big favoufrite..

about that


cherry only tried to KTFO him in 1 round, the last round, and he almost did, if he would have tried the whole fight rather then attempted to box he would have KTFO him easily

N'dou is a solid journeyman and if Malignaggi has taken anything at all out of the Cotto fight then he should win. N'dou is tough and durable and Malignaggi doesn't have the power to stop him so it's a case of going the twelve and outboxing him. He is younger, faster and should be able to do it. It's a big test.

Paulie is one of the few actually fighting anybody..

Witter is his own biggest faN..Wins a title..calls out hatton..Not happening..So he carries on beating bums.. Morua

Mbaye is a joke and drew in his first title defense again a nobody!!

Paulie has fought cotto and cherry in his last two and has sorted anoother title shot in his next fight..

It's part of a mini tourny to decide no.1 contender for the WBC title Floyd holds. The other fight in the tourny was held last week, can't remember who it was.

Secondly, I'm glad Malignaggi has a title shot. Big chance for him and I hope he takes it coz he has potential. The division is lacking since the best fleed the division. Hatton and Castillo are the pick of the bunch.

M'Baye and Witter are poor champions and my opinion of Torres has dropped since he failed to KO Morua. I'm hoping Gary Rees knocks out M'Baye so we can have another champion at 140lbs with actual potential.
