Judah predicts 1st round ko over Cotto.
I was watching an interview with Zab Judah and he said he was going to end the fight in the first round. ;D
Who does he think he is fighting, a cab driver named Galvan?
If you watch the Galvan fight, you will see that:
1.- Zab was sloppy
2.- Missed a lot of punches against a bum who was has the same blood line as Peter Manfredo Jr.
There is no way Zab is knocking out Cotto in the first round.
Even if Zab hurts Cotto, Miguel knows what to do when he is hurt.
He knows how to grab, hug and hang on, then retreat to recover.
He also knows how to stay down and take the 8 count (even if he was pushed down).
Cotto does not fall apart.
Zab is tripping. For his sake, let's just hope he does not do all that tripping in the ring like he did against Kostya Tszyu.
Zab's last fight was ruled a no contest and he will be no contest against Cotto.

You'd think all those knockdowns he has suffered,the KO by Tszyu etc would have beaten some sense into him,made him more humble but the more things change,the more they stay the same with Judah. First the nonsense with the Tito and now this. Idiot.
And I'm glad you noticed Cotto was pushed down by Torres bro! I thought I was the only one who was actually watching the fight properly and saw that!

I saw him hold on to keep from falling trying to regain his balance because he was seriously hurt and if that was the case then I could say Judah held on against Baldomir and knows what to do when hurt just like Danny said. Anyway after that I saw Cotto let go as Corley stalked him with his hands down and went to his body and Cotto got his composure back.
Stupid move on Corley's part in my opinion
Let me find the fight on youtube to see if I'm right

Anything could happen in this fight, that's why it's going to be fun to watch.
Both guys have the power to hurt the other, both guys leave themselves open for big shots at times, both guys have questions about their chin. Should be great to watch.

Zab always gets off great shots early. But guys like Floyd and KT have been able to take it.
I'm not 100% sold on Cotto's chin yet.
Judah's been in with guys similar to Cotto's style before.
Cotto has never faced anything close to Judah's speed.
Could Cotto take it? I don't think so but we'll wait n' see.

he was sloppy and he wasnt landing good shots, but judahs KO attempt style is superior

Outclassed is more a word. Mike started clowning in the 3rd because I guess he thought he had Holt figured out. Then Holt started hitting him and started clowning him. The 5th round was the best of the fight. It was tactical but in the 5th round Holt did start clowning Mike, putting his hands at his waist and sticking his chin out and when Mike tried to hit him holt pulled back and hit him with a straight right hand. It got to a point where his corner told him to "Have fun but still be respectful" because he was really making Mike look bad :-\
It was a tactical fight, not as exciting as it could have been but Holt did very good for himself beating Mike the way he did and flooring him to put an exclamation point on it.

A clash of styles that I never want to see again, basically both played the waiting game but Mike went forward and was the one countered more. The fight was so slow 1 punch would of won the round for either fighter and it was normally Mike getting punched.

I don't think you're giving Torres enough credit. Corley may not have pressed his advantage as much as he could have, but Torres tried and tried. IMO, it DID have more to do with what Cotto did rather than what Torres didn't do.

Totally agree. Exactly what I said,Torres landed so many punches on Cotto's face,he became tired.Yet he still did not get the job done.and he had a what.98% KO ratio!

Box and brawl but he has improved his defense a little too. And last night he showed a part of his game that really busted up Mike when he used it, his jab. he has a very very good jab and it was really evident.

I like technical fights but this was something else, neither one of them really did anything and when they did it was one punch and run. I really like Mike but after this fight not so much. :(

I am a Cotto fan, you can predict it easily from my Nickname since we both are Puertorrican, but I will try not be be biased. I think Judah will be trying to make a fight similar to what he did with Spinks in their second fight. Judah is dangerous since he is fast and punches hard, however, he also become disorganized when he become the aggressor. This when I think Cotto will capitalize winning by KO early in the fight (before the end of round 6). Cotto of course has to be careful of not being hurt by one of those wild punches Judah will be probably trying to land because it may not be the same story as Corley.
Cotto is a good counter puncher and he can take advantage of one of the many mistakes Judah will be probably making trying to win by KO. And, I would not be surprised KO Judah in the first round.

All I can say is OVERHAND RIGHT for Miguel Cotto. It will be there most of the night.
Baldomir who hits like a woman and is slow as an Alaskan summer day is long, hurt Judah and Zab was in trouble for an entire round. That's right! The 7th round Baldomir had Judah queering and running like a child runs from his parents before a spanking.
Zab's mental makeup is cheap and flawed. It will run and smear when it get's warm.
