gets hammered with a near lethal leg kick to the head. :o What the fuk happened to his right leg when he went down? It looked as if it was contorted and possibly fractured, but he was up after the fight.
Wow! Randy is going to have his hands full.

In all honesty I think that CC overlooked this guy. He went to block low because presumably this guy was just another shlub who cant even kick head height. And he paid for it. Hard. CC will be back, but that was just fucking brutal.
The funny thing about cro cop is he was going to be the next chuck. Yeah right that guy wouldn't stand a chance against talent like that.
Yep, I was schocked with the outcome also the way he struggled in the grounds. I really thought he improved from the Fedor fight. He did, but he really was KTFO tonight!!! Come back stronger Mirko, I still want to see Mirko - Randy and the rematch with Fedor.
mirko is a big headed over rated fool he needed his head kicked off for over looking ufc fighters this is the big leagues not pride wake up boy
HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!! CRO COP KNOCKED OUT BY A HEADKICK!!! THE IRONY!!!!
Yeah ironic. Cro Cop looked completely out of his element. I was surprised as to how much bigger Gonzage was and I think Cro Cop was to. Did Mirko throw one kick? He basically got manhandled then KTFO'd.
Now this Cotoure - Gonzaga fight is going to be intriguing as hell.
Yeah, you can say that again. Funny thing is I studied him a bit more tonight. One of the ringside commentators, I think it was Joe Rogan, commented about the lack of size of Cro-Cop's head, which I thought was ridiculous. However, his neck isn't too thick. But even with a neck like David Tua, I don't think many would have been able to take a leg kick to the temple from a 240+lb. fighter.Quote:

If Quentin was the same fighter I would agree with you that Chuck would get beat down :( But he isn't. I knew he wasnt the same after that Rua fight.. I wish Jackson as the same fighter, if he was then I would say he beats Chuck again. But, he isnt the same fighter that beat Chuck, and neither was Horn.Quote:

Rampage still has mad skills and I want to see him KLTFO!Quote:

For anyone that thinks that jackson will beat chuck. Think of this chuck has done nothing but improve since the first beat down and the same cant be said for jackson. you can almost compare him to a mike tyson of sorts. Yeah he has stayed good longer but he is not even closeto the man we all know as rampage. The rage has gone and I see another chuck packed year.
Dude, you need to stop with the hating of Chuck on this board, it's annoying as all hell ::** Randy Couture was the same fighter in the 2nd fight who dominated Chuck in the 1st, and he got KTFO. You're already making excuses for Rampage to lose because you know Chuck's gonna KO him, and stop with this bullsh!t about him not being the same fighter because he got KOd TWO YEARS AGO. What sets Liddell apart from any other fighter in MMA history is his ability to KO both people who he seemingly has no chance against, AND knocking out people who beat him. You just can't stand a white person beating a black person. Take your excuses and shove them up your @ss.Quote:

Chuck will avenge this loss just like all the rest. He will keep his belt and his #1 statiss for a while to come. Jackson looks like he just aint hungry anymore. Were as chuck is still the same I'm going to kick your a** mentality and until someone comes along to make him think different he will reighn supreme.
Mirko didn't fight HIS fight. He let the other guy set the tone and pace. As D said, it's likely that he simply thought he'd walk through people to win the belt.
Regardless of the fight he fought cro cop is a pride fighter he is NOT ufc material. He is to cockie and last night he got cocked. One sided fighting is not going to get you anywere in the ufc. It might get you passed some has beens or chumps but not the caliber of fighters in the ufc. I tried to tell people this but knowone would listen but after the chuck/jackson killing people will have to stand and pay head to the one sided warning.Quote:

credit to gonzaga though the guy trained hard and took it to cRocop.
funny though how all the hype into the fight only gonzaga was being shown and talked about. hmm.....
Why introduce race into the matter, Samson? Your brain can't conjure up a more realistic argumentative offering? How can you not like Jackson? Yeah, he's a bit eccentric, but he's a great fighter and a really cool person. One of my friends met him and Jackson took the time out not only to sing an autograph, but take pictures with him and B.S. for about 5 minutes. He said he was a really cool guy and fairly down to earth. Liddell on the other hand is a real shit-head.Quote:

I'm pulling for the underdog in this one. Not because I usually do, but because I really believe that Jackson will KLTFO.
i don't think chuck can beat rampage, chuck is a fist striker.
rampage is vulnerable against knees and kick strikes, like silva did to him twice.
i think rampage is going to smash chuck once again.
if chuck wants to win his going to need to knee rampage to the face and kicks to the body. hand strikes isn't going to be enough against rampage.
1, who said I didn't like Jackson ??? And 2, when looking for a realistic argumentative offering, why don't you try reading the entire post ::**Quote:

On another note, WTF was Assuerio Silva doing? I haven't seen him fight before but why did he just lay on Congo. I know taking Congo down was the right thing since he's good standing up but bad on the ground, but Silva just took him down and layed on him, didn't do anything. After a few times I was just praying that Congo could block the takedowns, I'm starting to get into MMA but that was boring as all hell.
Take your own advice. I never said Randy wasn't the same fighter. I said Horn and Jackson. And you're not making a realistic argumentive offering. You're taking my opinion and saying I'm using it as an excuse for Jackson to lose without proving either way. And then you assume that race has something to do with it and then you back up your claims with an insult.Quote:

It's not just MY opinion that Jackson isn't the same fighter, many MMA Fans will tell you that Quintin isn't the same fighter he once was. I'm an avid watcher of Pride and I watched as Shogun Rua completely destroyed Jackson and it was clear to me at that point that Quintin wasn't the same fighter.
Why the heck did you bring race into the issue? What does Chuck being white and Quintin being black have anything to do with it?
That was uncalled for and I don't know why you did it just because I had a different opinion thats actually the opinion of a lot of MMA fans.
So don't come down on me because I said something you didn't want to hear.
wow my man yd u bet on him ? u no wat giv me ur adress and il send u a dollar and start a "giv duke back his money it wasnt his fault fund" so mayb everyone will donateQuote:

thats the best part about mma, upset happen often so you can never be too sure. and they happen via knock outs not a boring decision. thats what excitement is all about, upsets and k.o's.Quote:

but nowadays in boxing we put two guys in together and most likely we all already know whos going to win.......and the worst part in boxing is we barely get two top fighter fighting eachother. thank god for the featherweight division though, them legends duck it out like mad mans.
another thing that sucks about boxing is we have too many undefeated fighters, that just proves lack of great match makings.
