What makes you all think De la Hoya is Fake???
i hear all the time that he is fake, is that from people who have met him or just dislike him and spreadin rumours so more people hate on him??

I don't think he's fake he's a great fighter he's had great fights against great fighters and most of all he's a good man with a good family ive always liked him but the 24/7 episodes have really opened my eyes i really like floyd too i don't know who i will be rooting for come fight night i don't know why people think Oscars a fake he could be worse he could be 43-0 and fought nobody and just ripped off 35,000 fans now thats a fake

He might have some personal issues or image buffers thrown up here & there...but dammit...who don't?

First off no way is he a fake .He is the real deal that fights the hardest fights he can find. I do feel Felix Sterm beat him clearly though. As far as him beating PPF. ODH has lost 3 of his last 4 and PPF has never lost so explain how you guys think he is going to beat PPF,, LOL got you guys going now. I see ODH winning too, you have to look at who they have recently faught.

THEY DON'T MEAN FAKE "INSIDE" THE RING!!! ;) They mean "outside" the ring persona of "always the good guy" is whats fake ;)

every body read my thread on Freddie Roach being the TRUE CHAMP of the hbo 24/7 series i pretty much kept it REAL on why I feel Oscar is fake and majesty pretty much nailed it too IMO

I think he's fake. Not inside the ring, he's a great fighter, a future HoFer, he's proven he wants to fight only the best. But outside the ring, and in particular in his buisness dealings, he's duplicitious.

We are all a bit fake to some degree
for instance , if you keep washing that Rolex watch, the gold will start coming off :laugh: . people are the same way. keeping a positive image is very important for public perception , never being photographed with a drink in your hand or smoking a cigar for instance. Hell that don't mean you don't do it ! ;)
