I think hes 35, but hes been in a few wars throughout his career....
Yory is becoming like the gate keeper into fighting World Class, meaning if you can beat him then you upgrade to World Class. Hes beaten some prospects along the way and hes also beaten some highly regarded opponents.
His fights gonna be televised on ESPN:WDF
Your telling me! Im gona try find a recent pic of him.. Is he still in shape?Quote:

If he's still whooping ass then thats pretty sweet..
Damn.. Considering it was a long time ago an undefeated felix trinidad handed yuri boy his first loss..
And yuri boy had fought about 55 fights undefeated with about 98% of them knockouts back then..
Crazy
Lol..He was 56-0 51 ko's when he fought tito..
Brutal stoppage..Then all the big names used him as a gatekeeper..
Oba carr, vargas, oscar obv had already made it but its a fight with a named fighter none the less
I believe he is the only fighter who, after getting KO'ed by Tito, has managed to bounce back(kinda) and win a world title. He was never World Class himself but I have much respect for this man. Tough guy.

I wouldn't say world class, but as of now he's a test for any prospect.Quote:

Yori Boy is tuff and I give him props for givin Duddy hell, but does everyone forget that he QUITS in every one of his damn losses?! I'm sorry, but that shat pisses me off.
Yori Boy is highly respected as a fighter...Getting old but has had a hell of a career....I swear it feels like he has been around for ever....Never goes in the fight acting like an opponent and never take him lightly
He's same age as Calzaghe 35 he's had 97 fights W88 L9 D0 72KO'S won world titles and look at the company he's mixed with win and lose Calzaghe could learn a few things off fighters like this who just want to fight anyone
This guy is a real fighter, hes now in the position of gatekeeper, but dont go to sleep on him because he will put your young prospect on his ass quick. The guy is a brilliant boxer, and scrappy as fu**. He got robbed of the money he should have made in the big fights he was in. I saw something like he made a fraction of De La Hoya and Trinidad in their fights...when it was his reputation they were building themselves on. If De La Hoya was a stand up guy he would get Campas some big fights with some of his stable to make up for getting ripped off.
He needs to retire.
Yeah it looks like hes at that point where he will win one against a mediocre opponent, but lose to people that he wouldnt have lost to back in the day. Maybe he should hang em up, 100 fights is alot nowadays.
I've always been a fan of Yori Boy, but someone needs to save this man from himself. He's got nothing left to prove, not to mention he's just got nothing left, period.
Campas gave the Nigerian guy with 568 amatuer fights a good fight, but lost. That Nigerian guy was a good boxer, but thats BS that he made my boy Mayorga quit after just 2 rounds of sparring, BULLSHAT! >:mad
