One thing that offended me about Floyd

just for the record before someone calls me a hater my top five favorite active fighters are

DLH
Mayweather
MAB
Mosley
Calzhage

I had no preference on who won the fight prior to the entrance. Then I saw Mayweather put on the Mexican sombrero (hat). I saw it as he was trying to mock us Mexicans. Kind of like his uncle the so called mexican assasin did back in the 80's and 90's. I am old enough to remember that, I had forgotten about it though until Floyd resurrected it.

I was offended.

I agree... I thought it was funny, but disrespectful. My assumption is that he was just trying to aggrevate the crowd and ODLH, but with Mayweather he might have very well have been trying to discriminate against all mexicans.

it was no biggie but it was a low blow though.....

kind of equivalent to DLH coming out in an afro wig, no biggie but a low blow

8) It didnt bother me because I also remember his uncle Rodger doing it. It bothers me even less now because I dont care what Mayweather says in his head he didnt win couldnt showboat as hes use to he got beat. I took him by points with my bets but as I have said I got lucky because I was ready to start paying. I didnt even feel right getting paid after I knew Oscar had really won even if they took it from him. He will get his from a Mexican MadDog just as his uncle did I really think he did already really!

Mayweather is a jackass and will be remembered as such!

Honestly I don't know squat about either. I just know when I ask someone about their tat that say very seriously "it's tribal". So I always act surprised and say "i didn't know you were indian"? Just my way of amusing myself. ;)

I guess I'm the only that didn't find it offensive considering everyone in his camp was wearing shirts that said 'Mayweather loves Mexico' in front and 'Mexico loves Mayweather' in back. He also had the Mexican colors on his trunks. It's not like he offered up tacos and tortillas before breaking the staff of a Mexican flag, throwing them to the floor and stomping on them (something that Hopkins did using a bag of rice, beans and the Puerto Rican flag during the promotion of the Trinidad vs. Hopkins fight). I feel he was just playing on the principle that NOT EVERY Mexican is a De La Hoya fan.
