Best Super Hero movie ever?

After seein Spider Man 3, liking it, and seein all the topics about it on here, it got me thinkin. What is the best super hero movie ever?
There's been some bad ones like "DareDevil" and "The Hulk"(please note that I was in no way involved with this God awful movie, they contacted me trying to get me to appear, but I refused, they made the movie anyway and I am still battling it out with them in the courts and as such am not legally able to say anymore). Personally I liked "The Punisher", that fight with the Russian was bad ass.

i saw a viewers poll on this not so long back - think it was in Empire

X Men 2 came out top - can't really comment as not seen any of the xmen movies

i took this bad asss dime piece to see X MEN 2!

she knew all about the xmen characters and their special powers etc. which is rare since she was a 10! 34DD's natural 6pack abs, jlo asss, look like them japanese anime porn character chicks.

i told her most chicks arent into comic books and they look down upon dudes who are into comic books and she said why? not me.

needless to say this was one that got away :'(

After that watched a Documentry on the history of Porn so every cloud and that ... :)

If I had to pick one...it'd be Sin City. Nothing tops that or 300 for me.

I love any Frank Miller yarn. That fellars a hell of a writer & the stories are so nearly real that it's more like a pulp novel than super powers...but it's loaded with heroes & villians.

Spider-Man has been great to date & there's been a low budget release of Marvel Comics Man-Thing recently.

I loved it...really REALLY underacted...but for some reason...it just clicked with me.

Wack-O, I agree with you on Man-Thing. For a Sci-Fi original movie it was pretty good. I wouldn't purchase the DVD but I would watch it again if it were on the tube.

Amat, I am also looking forward to parts 2 & 3 of Sin City. Did you know that they are not sequels per se because each story will be completely different?

I will start by saying The Punisher movie was putrid. Whenever I watch Man On Fire I pretend that I am watching The Punisher and it makes me feel better.

Daredevil and The Hulk were both enjoyable for me and would not call them bad at all. Still, if I called them the best I should be beaten with an extension cord.

Batman Begins was top notch but Cristian Bale's chin looks so ridiculous sticking out of the mask that it is hard to take Batman serious.

Fantastic Four was absolute shit unless you were 12 and under.

So, after all that I would say Spider-Man is the best so far.

They need to make a new 'Phantom & Mandrake' movie with all these special effects and a good story line....

Worst ever: Captain America (1990), Elektra (2005), Flash Gordon (1980) [though I find it's campy acting and horrible story AWESOME] {also note Flash Gordon is not THE FLASH, Flash Gordon is a sci-fi superhero much like Buck Rogers}

FYI The Punisher starring Dolph Lundgren can be found at a Wal-Mart dump bin near you for $5.50 It's been a long time since I've seen it but I trust you Lyle and might send out for it later

I guess it's possible that it's only in East Coast Wal-Marts, but I'd check if I were a fan of the movie.

....hey man sometimes the worst movies in the Wal-Mart bins are some of the best buys ;D

Batman begin rocks....
Didn't like the other batman ones that much.. the first one was okay and michelle pfiffer (or however you spell it) in pvc was f'n HOT, but batman begins is 10 times better.

If they had those writters working on some of the other comic book movies they would be a lot more watchable!

I'm saying the punisher because A. its my nickname and B. he's a total badass and the russian fight (with kevin nash) was pretty funny. Keep in mind if you ever find yourself facing a roided up freak of nature, throw boiling water in his face and DDT him down some steps. Works everytime ;D

EASILY SIN CITY. The comic book look,the acting,Jessica Alba on a pole,the characters diversity,that HOT black girl,the violence,all depicted brilliantly. Batman Begins a close second:I don't even like Batman but that was dark,atmospheric,had me hooked from start to end. His training scenes with the Ras al Guhl were AWESOME!

No offense bro, but I fukin HATED Sin City. It was lame with all the weird cinamotography and black and white and extreme gore and just trash. It was lame. All my friends liked it, in fact we're pretty sure that Boo Boo stole Fat ass's copy over a year ago and is still denying it to this day. I say he did Fat ass a favor though...fuk that movie.

......I like Sin City......it was different but I assume it is more like the comic than just another movie, which I think is a cool idea.

X2 was really good, so was the first Spider man, nothing beats the first 2 Batman films and the newest was pretty good.

Not seen the new super man, Daredevil was alright imo... what about 'batman and robin'? :P

I think Superman Returns was not so great....SPAWN sucked ass!!! And League of Extrodinary Gentlemen.....not so good



It's time for Hollywood to make these films and make them good (NO MORE ANG LEE BULLSHIT!!!):

Captain America - he could fight the Nazi's again as that is an ok group to pick on.....or he could go after Terrorists in general OR Islamic Terrorists which would create buzz and lots of PC lawsuits saying it's wrong to do so

The Flash - I heard they were actually thinking of making this movie....and Ryan Reynolds would be The Flash

Aquaman - Hell Entourage already hyped it up




and let's all face facts, The Punisher needed more violence, more darkness, and more of an edge....it seemed aimed at the kids when in fact The Punisher is just a good guy gone out for vengence in the most horrible ways imaginable.

....have you heard Heather Ledger is playing The Joker in the sequal to Batman Begins (titled THE DARK KNIGHT). And Thomas Jane is playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face


I think it was a good choice....I wonder what villain they would go with next? And could someone kill off the Rachel Dawes character please??? Katie Holmes was bad enough and now we have to suffer through the queen of ugly Maggie Gyllenhal.....

Because The hulk lMovie like the Low budget TV series was based on the comic.

The Movie capture who the Hulk exatcly was in the comic. Tv series = low budget sucky sucky
