I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
I thought mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did (I really thought floyd lost) in there first fight, he hurt oscar at times, floyd look like he hit like a girl at junior middle

I had it a draw, until Mosely won the last round. And in the second fight, Oscar won, and got robbed.
-
Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
Why do you start 10 billion topics on the same fighter?
-
Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
cause I felt like it, oh and thats why he won mosley he went for it in the last round, did mayweather he did as little as oscar in the 12th. Yep mosley lost the rematch I concede
-
Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
nah mosley beat oscar pretty soundly in the first fight and the rematch was a bit closer but still shane's fight. i dunno if your trying to start the topic that mosley would beat floyd simply because he beat oscar more convincingly than floyd did ( i thought oscar beat floyd). personally i think shane beats floyd but the fight will never happen so at the end of the day this is just another floyd topic.

i don't think oscar thought PBF hit like a girl. he look like he had a decent amount of respect for PBF power.
don't let the flurries fool you. DLH didn't land many clean shots in the fight. PBF was the one landing the harder shots.

I agree that Shane won the first fight, but Oscar was robbed in the second. I think Shane thought he lost too, coz he nearly shit himself when he was announced the winner.
-
Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
shane new he lost that 2nd fight. we all remember the look on his face.
-
Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
If you're talking about the first fight between Oscar and Shane, then yes... because I don't think Floyd really beat ODLH. I'm not upset with the decision, because I could have seen it going either way. The Oscar/Shane fights were a different beast though. They were killing each other. It wasn't Oscar chasing Shane around for 10 rounds (a la oscar/mayweather). They both came out with bad intentions. Glorious. I'm getting fired up thinking about it. I don't think that proves anything though.

I had both the first Mosley/DLH fight and the Floyd/Oscar fight scored 116-112.
If you think Floyd "hits like a girl," then either you have an agenda against Floyd or you didn't bother to watch the fight.

He doesn't hit like a girl, he hits like a weak woman...is that better? Wait, you scored the second fight 116 -112 for Mosley??? That's crazy. You don't like Oscar do you?

We're talking about the first Mosley/Oscar fight, not the second.
I scored the first Mosley/Oscar fight 116-112 for Shane. Which was the exact same scorecard as Lederman, and the same as one of the judges as well.
If Floyd hit like a "weak woman" he wouldn't have won the fight.
That's crazy. You don't like Floyd do you?

Floyd was not established at 147 nor 154...but he moved up to both & kicked the shit outta Judah, Baldo, & Oscar.
Mosley's first outting was impressive against Oscar...but he had campaigned much longer in the weight class than Floyd.
The second fight against Mosley...Mosley lost & he knows it!
Floyd did just fine & he beat Oscar convincingly.

Thank you for completely taking any credit from Oscar. Because if Floyd hit like a girl then that would be more on Oscar's fault for not pressing the fight. Something was stopping him from throwing the jab and if Floyd hit like a girl it certainly wasnt the counter right hand that buckled Oscar's knees was it? :)

I agree PBF kicked the shat outta Zab, but Baldo and ODH??? He outpointed them. Seriously nothing close to a beat down. Outpointed, sure but he didn't beat anybody up. No marks, no blood, going backwards most of the time..... Not a beat down.
I think Shane beat that tar out of ODH the 2nd fight. Sure ODH landed more jabs, but Shane was chasing him and landing hard hard body shots and ODH was bloody beaten and retreating. ODH looked like he wouldn't have survived much longer and Shane looked fresh and unmarked. In my opinion PBF didn't beat ODH convincingly. I felt it could have went either way. I know the flurries didn't land flush but I just don't give much credit to defense first fighters.

True. O0

Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
Mosley landed a lot more punches on De La Hoya, but Floyd won by a bigger margin IMO

Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
Can anyone think of a great fighter with more questionable decisions in their career than ODH? Whitaker/Quartey/MoselyII/Tito/Sturm/PBF

See...this is where some judges go wrong.
A beatdown does not have to equate to blood or drops...sorry boys...he beatdown Baldo & Oscar...just as he did Judah.

I really don't consider the Floyd fight to be a questionable decision, I thought it was a decisive victory for Floyd.
Not a blowout win, but a clear win.
The other five you listed are all questionable decisions, and all those fights were closer fights than the Floyd fight.
-
Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
I think Mosley is a stronger guy compared to Floyd, so his advantage in speed could be used against Oscar to win on the inside and dominate. Oscar had no other way to fight, against Floyd, Oscar was stronger and he could be the aggressor and it looks like he did better. Although I am not sure about punchstats with the Mosley fights.

Re: I thought Mosley beat delahoya far more soundly than floyd did
I had the first Mosely fight 116-112 and in my opinion that was a prime Mosely
2nd Fight Oscar was robbed - not even debatable in my book. Mosely was amazed when he got the verdict
Finally - I had PBF beating Oscar 7 rounds to 5, by virtue of winning the last 4.

I had first Mosley vs Oscar fight Mosley winning by 3 rounds
2nd one can't quite remember what i had it but Oscar was robbed
And i had Mayweather vs Oscar 116-113

it don't matter now who you thought won. the decision has been made and mayweather won. the fight is kinda old to be honest mayweather won by a few points in my opinion. the last rounds gave him the fight

Mosley lost at 154.
Im saying that now but at 1st i was like 'hell yeah, well spotted'. But that was at 147, we all know he lost at 154 ;)
