It was reported in the Arizona Republic , that former WBO heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison (48-3, 42KOs) is ready to make his debut in mixed martial arts, with a goal in mind of eventually landing a fight with UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck "Iceman" Liddell.
Morrison should stick to boxing. He ain't got the wind or the respect for MMA fighters to be tryin MMA. Against a top guy like Liddell, UNLESS he got a quick lucky shot in, he would be embarassed and hurt. This is a con the way I see it, seems like guys like him and Mercer who are shot in boxing just about think they can just decide to do MMA and make big money. I don't think it works that way though. Morrison needs to keep boxing.

Chuck is a stand up fighter. He loves to strike . I think Morrison can take him . there is a huge difference between a MMA hand ability and a World Class boxers hands. Boxers have a better base . They can double up on the right hand. I read that as Tommy Morrison Wants Money.
Liddell said his name (kind of) on Good Morning Dallas and that will be the closest he ever gets to any sort of title and even that won't happen. The West Virginia State Heavyweight Champion thinks Morrison is a joke right now.
