spinks doesnt hit hard enough to beat mayweather
PBF would win.
PBF does everything spinks does but better. last night spinks was clearly open for the righthand and we all know that PBF's favorite punch. i think PBF could get a TKO.
PBF would clearly outpoint Cory!
I was thinking about this last night during the first three rounds. What if Spinks would have won?
I think that would pull PBF out of retirement and fight. Imagine him winning the Middleweight title after just winning the Jr. Middle.
Floyd easy win.Quote:

He proved that against Castillo, Corrales, Gatti, & recently Oscar...all of whom were supposed to impose their size & reach against him...they all lost...so would Spinks.
mayweather would win so easily
I pick Mayweather by decision but if Corey is in shape and on his game it will be a long night for Floyd...
Not a walkthrough by any means
spinks has no answer for the righthand. i say easy night for a fighter who love the straight right hand.
I see UBF winning this one and based on their styles, this would be a boring fight...zzzzzzz....
Yeah but it's not Spinks style to impose his size and reach on Mayweather.Quote:

Spinks' style isn't to impose his will on Mayweather. And I think they both would make each other look bad on route to a close decision for either of them.
But Floyd already admitted that Spinks woul dmake anyone he fights look bad and Floyd is gonna go for the money. The risk is in the Spinks fight but the money isnt. So I don't think Floyd will ever fight him.

Castillo Corrales and Gatti are all slow compared to Spinks i don't know how thats proving anything with regard to Spinks fight he struggled to beat Castillo twice only other one on that list who was quick was Oscar who was past his best and was winning until he gased out and stopped using his jab i think Spinks would shock the world by giving Mayweather a tougher fight than people would expect but still loses close decision.Quote:

This is the hardest fight for Mayweather. He can't take Spinks out, and Spinks is taller with a longer reach. Spinks is a much better outside boxer than Mosley, and he is very fast. You saw the troubles Judah gave Mayweather with his speed and being southpaw... Spinks outboxed Judah in both fights, but succumbed to his power in the second fight which is fair because Judah hits really hard.
Interesting question....but i think PBF wins easily......both ringwalks would be entertaining though...
Mayweather wins. I have no interest in seeing this fight.
My prediction , it would be the most boring fight in history .
this will be a good fight coz who runs faster wins LOL...
Please delete this thread. Mayweather vs Spinks is probably the worst match up that could ever be made in the history of boxing. Just the thought of that fight makes me want to stab my eyeballs out of their sockets.
people dont get what art is this would be art at its best
i have no interest in seeing mayweather sr ugly mug everytime you post.Quote:

This is the second or third time someone has posted this. The more people complain, the longer Floyd Sr. stays.Quote:

I still say this isn't an easy win.
I think Spinks would give Mayweather fans a scare by making Floyd look bad early on as Floyd takes time to adjust to his opponents in the early going. That being said, I think Floyd would completely own the middle and late rounds, winning a clear cut UD or perhaps even a TKO (I think Floyd hits harder than he is given credit for, he's just too conservative to chase the T/KO). Then again, Spinks would have to actually land more than 15 punches a round in this fight to make it remotely close... which I don't think it would be in the end, cause Floyd's a shitload harder to hit than JT, but Spinks probably wouldn't be as wary of Floyd's power. I'd probably be the only person in the world interested in seeing this, just to see how Floyd would handle it.
an un easy watch for the fans is a sure bet. :laugh:Quote:

I'd favour Floyd to land more though because Spink wouldn't let his hands go enough. Floyd UD. Maaaaan, how would this play out? Who would come forward? Would they just circle each other for 12 rounds??
