Calzaghe making noises.........

Joe Calzaghe has started to put a bit of pressure on Taylor to try and make this fight happen, and i believe that JC really wants this and he knows he'd beat JT. Calzaghe has now said that he will travel to the US if he has to and even accused him of being scared to fight him. Calzaghe really needs this fight and beating JT would really make everyone in boxing start seeing JC for what he is, a true A class fighter.

He's even called out the winner of B-hop/Winky for a January class, Please let these fights happen Joe because time isn't exactly on your side.....

I believe Joe has the possible beating of all three of these potential opponents...

I love Calzaghe and think he is the best fighter in the UK but I don't hold my breath when it comes to him fighting big names.

He really wants the Taylor fight i recon he knows he has the beating of him and trying to call him into making the fight.Many fighters have also called Calzaghe out but that doesnt seem to bother him.I just hope JC gets the big fight he deserves.I read somewhere he would be intrested in taking on the winner of the Hopkins and Wright fight in January.

If Calzaghe is making noises then i guess Frank Warren took him for a Indian Curry last night and it must be flatulence , cos neither of them make noises that are anything but wind :)

if ever jc fight a big name, j.t bhop or winky that would be the end of jc hype. kessler is the truth. kessler has a better chance winning against the big names.

i do hope jc really have the balls to fight the big names so i can see him lose. I hope bhop heres about joe trying to make noise so bhop can punk the shyt outta joe. i bet joe is afraid of confrontations like the kind bhop can dish out.

cc BigRagu. Kessler seems like the best bet for Calzaghe now.. Taylor should fight Pavlik and beat him, and they can then fight each other.

Calzaghe needs to get a move on or come September he won't have a fight

I actually like calzaghe and think he has a good shot at beating any of the fighters mentioned but he always seems to make noise after another fighter is in the limelight of fighting taylor....now that pavlik is the current fight everyone is talking about he comes out of the woodwork with all this talk..so he can go back later and say " hey i called him out..i tried but...." i'm not so sure why he is so afraid of taking the next step....why would any us big name fighter go over there and fight when joe wants what we have over here.....at the very least he should fight kessler..there's nothing really planned for kessler right now so set it up...don't wait till someone else does and then start all this tough talk all over again....just my opinion for those who are fans of his....i like him as well....

[/quote]whoa!!!!! Kessler has been calling out Calzaghe for the last 2-3 years....as well as RJJ and Johnson..and etc(insert quality opponent here).......and holding 1 of the FOUR belts does not constitute a true champ...you have to unify the division to get those kind of props.....

Kessler was approached after the manfredo fight but was unavailable to fight Calzaghe this year.
And the last i heard Johnson and RJJ were light heavies....How would that help unify the super middle division?

Yes Calzaghe is undefeated but his opponents are carried TO THE RING BY 4 POLL BEARERS so this is hardly and achievement :)
Joe misunderstood when a fighters said my oponant had to be carried FROM THE RING AFTER OUR FIGHT
He thought the guys said CARRIED TO THE RING BEFORE THE FIGHT ( STIFFS ) lol

Actually the offer they made to Kessler was so ridiculous,there was no way he was going to take it.
Warrens M/O really dodge a guy by making an "offer",itll play in the UK tabloids,but he knows the offer wont be taken.
Now maybe the contract Joe has with Warren is as ironclad as Ive heard,in wich case he should have never signed it,or Joes letting Frank help him dodge guys

at the end of the day, he once made an offer to Hopkins, offered Kessler the biggest purse of his life and offed Taylor a decent sum!!! He should of gone to the stated earlier, I BLAME WARREN...
