OK, so this week doesn't look the best at first glance. Bones Adams hasn't meant anything for years now, and David Martinez has 2 losses. However, one of Martinez' loss came against Bernard Dunne in Dunne's back yard, and the other, he was ahead on the cards before getting stopped.
Holly Holm is the co feature.

Wow bones Adams started amateurs at age 7!!! Turned pro at 15. hes so old school he was on Thats Incredible when he was 7. Hes been pro for 18 years and is 32...wow. This fight is not bad actually, Adams just looks more in control, but its pretty even from the rounds I got to see so far...missed some middle rounds to eat.

Bones looked fairly good. He's only 32, he did some good work with the jab, he was a little more flatfooted this time out. He had really good timing, it wasn't really stellar opposition but I thought he looked good. By no means a contender yet, but a solid outing to build on. Fair play to Adams.
Now women are on, so it's over to the Giants game for me.
As far as women boxers though this should be a good one.
Not as good as Zito pitching 8)

Nice backflip by Holm ;) Holm UD shutout on 2 cards..but the fight was still a slugout, Holm gave more but took some clean shots. Female FOTY? Do they have that? I liked it, they had skills.
