Can any of my more knowledgeable latino brothers verify thats what the articl says?

I tried to translate it heres what it sort of said :-\
Jose Luis Castle left planted the officials of the Commission of Box, Fight Libre and Kick Boxing de Tijuana, that hoped to him in afternoon of yesterday for the prepesaje of their combat by the super-light international title of the World-wide Council of Boxing against the Briton Ricky Hatton, to ventilate the 23 of June in Fertile valleys. For more than 60 minutes, the gentlemen Youngest child Rendón (commissioner), Leobardo Ibarra (treasurer) and Edmundo Hernandez (executive secretary) waited their presence. In agreement with the rules of the CMB, a pugilista that disputes a sceptre is forced to appear to an official prepesaje 30 days before I collate and it does not have to exceed 10 percents on the top of the division. Edmundo Hernandez reported that in repeated occasions it looked for Castle or its proxies, with null results. The offices were closed to 16:15 hours.

Not a probelm...
For the record all this weight issue and sh*t! that JLC is doing IMO, it's taking away from his career/credibility I mean look it just doesn't seem like his fit to be fighting he has issues making weight.

You think we will see another Corrales vs Castillo 3 moment ??

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
I think Hatton should sort a fighter who can step in at short notice because he does'nt want to end up without a fight

Well I don't know....
At 1st I was thinking we might see another JLC-Chico II moment but now that you mention III who knows....
If it's another III moment then IMO, JLC can just kiss his career good bye I mean I just don't see him making 147 thats for damn! sure and even if he did the WW's are some naturally big mutha' fu**ers they would tear up JLC.
Plus I don't think Hattons stupid enough to still fight him even at a catch weight or whatever... (non-title of course)

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
Does anybody know what happens now? Will the WBC postpone/ cancel the fight or just fine JLC? There could almost be the assumption he did not turn up as he is no where near 10% away from the Light-welter limit.

I think it'll be a non-title fight BUT it all depends on Hatton if he want's to go forth with the bout or not.
Unless theres a REALLY good explanation to why he didn't show and the WBC excuses his absense.

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
It will end up Hatton vs Forbes ;D

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
I think Hatton will want to go ahead with it personally just coz of the way he is. He wants to prove himself as the best Britain has ever had so I can not see him backing out.
-
Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
If he comes in heavy again he did it twice with Corrales if he does it with Hatton he should be fined and banned because he's just costing everybody money

Like I said AFTER THE SECOND CORRALES fight,JLC should have moved straight up to WW. I nailed that one ;D ;) He was killing himself making the 140 limit for that fight and it is evident here. Maybe they will fight at a catch weight? I honestly hope the fight is not cancelled!
Anyone know what happens in this situation? And what would you do if you were Hatton? Fight at a catch weight? FOrget the fight?

That could be true but I see Ricky thinking like this:

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
Here we go again. I love to watch JLC fight, but this is getting ridiculous. I'll reserve judgement until we know more. Hopefully, they can still salvage the situation. If this fight doesn't happen, I'll be highly dissappointed.

Agreed. This is not yet conclusive...
Lets see how things unravel...

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
Man, this is disappointing. If he's having problems making weight again it is just blatent disrespect and a shocking lack of professionalism from JLC. I think Hatton will still go forward with the fight if JLC can get close to 140, but I don't think he should, it's not fair to the fighter who drains him self physically and mentally to get to the weight (we all know Hatton has had issues regarding weight, though I don't think he's ever not made weight).

I may be in the minority here, but I think that would be a pretty good fight, and Forbes deserves a shot at someone after that bullshit decision he got against D-Hop.

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!
What is worrying say they fought at catchweight so fight was not scrapped look what happened in second Corrales fight when Castillo was stronger. This is'nt fair Hatton is draining himself to make weight and Castillo would be more natural and he would be really strong like in the second Corrales fight.

Re: Ermmmmmm...JLC didn't turn up for the 30 day weigh in.......??!!??!

Only 7lbs to lose then and 20 odd days to do it good for Hatton ;)

Re: JLC weighs in at 147! Phew!!
Any word on how well the tickets are selling?
Personally, I think this would be more exciting if it were held in the UK as opposed to Vegas.
