How are they banning me, Intelligent person needed, long shot I know

Ok so here's the deal.

I'm a member of a certain boxing torrent site. They banned me, probably because they found out I was ghost leeching.

Anyways I registered a new account and they banned me instantly again.

So I tried the following.

Used Window Washer to delete all cookies, personal data etc.
Reset my router and ensured the dynamic IP had changed
Created completely new email address and username and password details

The result, I was able to reregister but was banned within 5 minutes before I even downloaded anything.

They are obviously able to link these new accounts to my old one but how?

I've deleted all cookies, even unistalled and reinstalled mozilla
I've changed my dynamic IP
Completely new emails and password details used.

???

How do they know it's me?

Do they have tracer software?...Some site's use it for their sponsers. It allows them to spam you and keep track of your online habits...EG Shopping,,Type of sites you visit to know what you and the other users of that computer like...Shopping interest ect...again all for commercial reasons and in case you buy something online from them and fradulate by not paying or using fake credit card numbers

Not as far as I know. It's wbva. Somehow when I open a new account they know who I am and ban me within minutes. ???

It can't be cookies because I've deleted them all.
I'm using a different email, username and password so no links there.
My IP address is different. I have a dynamic IP that I can change by disconnecting my router.

Think they do it off your ip address buddy

Did they ban you and you tried within an hour or something like that to register again ?
Sometimes its works,if you let some time go by ... Try the next day again,but you should still
delet your cookies again...Don't know about dynamic IP ,maybe try a proxy...

Just used Ghostsurf and I can access their webpage with that enabled but I get a 403 forbidden message if I don't.

The weird thing is though if I reset my router to get a new dynamic IP I can access the website and rejoin, but only few a minutes.

Is it possible that I have two IP addresses, a dynamic one and also a static one? I'm with AOL

Its strange because i got banned on here yet i could get on on my mums pc as normal luckily im back on now

They unbanned me but i was still banned on my pc when i could get on on my mums but now im not banned

I had similiar problems once,can't remember what it was...but reseting the router
didn't work for me...I think your are right about the static ip...
Try tomorrow maybe it will work then...

Am i wrong thinking your PC has a ip address and only way of changing it is by reinstalling windows

Aww for fucks sake I'm sure I don't need to reformat, that would be MAJOR pisser as I have over 300 gig of files on the harddrive and would need to back them all up first :-\

From what I can gather on the net my netgear router has it's own hardware IP address called a MAC address.

Means absolutely nothing to me but I guess if WBVA know what my MAC address is they can just ban that as it appears to be static and any amount of dynamic ip address changes will avail me nothing.

I need to be able to change the MAC address, anyone even know what I'm talking about?

I think to change your MAC address you need to call your ISP so they can give you a new number and you enter it there yourself. I'm pretty sure anyways as I've read similar topics to this on other boards. You can change the MAC address just in network connections but you would need a new number to put in.

A few months ago they were making requests for donations to pay for their muthafucking server and they said they were $100 short, I gave them $70 muthafucking dollars to pay their muthafucking server fees and they go and muthafucking ban me without even a muthafucking warning. >:mad

I went through the same thing first I joined it legit then they banned me for saying what I had to so I went back by switching the cable to a different port on the back of my router they blackballed all four ports so I used ghost and damn if they did,nt block that also. That S.O.B. don king must run that site.

I think seeding is an important part of the torrent site process.. just seed after hours when not using the CPU. ..

ha I just read a guide how to change my MAC address on my router to my computer address. Did it, got back on the site with a new account, started reading a forum page about ghost leeching.

Got to page 3 then 403 Forbiddern Unauthorized user!!! AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!

Then they have tracer software...It has nothing to do with cookies...It embeds in one of your offline folders and activates when signing on...Like TysonBruno said it is done through your ip...Hard to get rid of...Won't hurt your computer and is used for mostly advertising reasons and can not get into certain pw protected things like e-mail or if you use credit cards online ect...Psky as hell though

Hmm if they have put tracer software on my comp they have started a vendetta that will last for eternity.

Well at least as long as it takes me to understand how computers work and then hack into their crummy site and bring it down, which will probably take me 10 years.

On an aside I've downloaded a little app that hides my mac address and 15 minutes in with a new account and they've not banned me yet......

It seems indeed that they were banning my mac address rather than my ip address.

However a google search say banning mac address is not possible ???

no I mean I have an income that depends on me getting the latest fights and the site that banned me is the best place to get them.

I can get in briefly. If I create a new account, with a new ip address, using new email and username details, providing I've deleted all cookies and internet history.

But then, somehow within a few mintes somebody catches on it seems and they manually ban me ???

How they are doing it is anybody's F****** guess as I'm using a dynamic IP and even hiding my mac address?

These guys are pro's and it's frankly scaring me. I mean how do they know it's me? It's creeping me out now to be honest.

No physical violence involved. It's basically downloading from torrent sites but without being seen or detected, so that you don't have to worry about keeping a ratio.

It's served me well for a couple years, downloading everything I want but now................
