That is scary, I really feel sorry for him, honestly.
He has balls an all but he should just now enjoy his money
I had a hard time understanding one word, he sounds twice as bad as holyfield and is half his age ;)
...small gloves, knees, elbows, and kicks that land on the back of the head will do it to you.
First time I watched it I thought it was funny but honestly now I feel bad for the guy, and that was before the Jackson fight

I just wish he would take more of a backseat to his fighters and org instead of trying to be such a "vince mcmahon". I think it takes some of the sports credibility away.

I know that Lyle they're in great shape as they are, but there are no cases to speak of in MMA so far, and there's a million ex boxers who are in awful shape now, add to that the deaths and debilitaions, you can't say that MMA isn't safer for the fighters than boxing. The average fighter absorbs 250-300 punches over 36 mins, big gloves don't protect fighters, it allows their brains to receive more trauma. In MMA less strikes are landed, but their forces tend to be much greater, which ironically is safer for a fighter long term. Those are facts, they can't be argued with. I think any sport where a concussion is the preferred ending is inherently not safe...The force behind a good kick is going to be harder than a punch and a punch with 4 oz gloves is going to be faster than one with 12 oz gloves..so the KO's can be a little more violent looking. The real issue is that boxers take more damage over a fight and career than MMA fighters. The brutalility is subjective

Boxers are more apt to get punched, MMA fighters aren't....that's the big difference. 3 minutes of punching and trying to land punches vs 5 minutes of more options....kicking, grappling, punching.
It takes more time for an MMA fighter to land than it does a boxer mainly because they have to worry not only about being countered but tackled to the ground or kicked and in Crocop's case it was mighty bad looking.
